Fishing Trip

This is one thing I haven't done although I come from Terengganu. Fishing. I have always wanted to do fishing but never had the guts of doing it. So came along my phD friend, Muk Chen, organising the trip and so I took this opportunity to start my fishing adventure. As the famous Chinese proverb says 'Fish for a man, you can feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish and he can feed himself forever.' So powerful!

Anyway, we started off by getting the life jackets from the Fire Station(which is also another first for me to go into a Fire Station. How jakun can I be. You learn something new everyday. :P) and headed off to the pier. Our first catch started a bit small. Just getting 4 tiny Torsk(Cod) fish. After feeling a bit disappointed, we moved to deep waters.

Ahhhhhhhh. That was where things got exciting. Everyone got 2 fish easily and then more came. The sizes were bigger too. But there was a price to pay. The weather wasn't that kind to us. The waves were quite choppy. So, after my last catch(I caught the biggest one which was about 3 kgs. :D) we headed back. The sea showed us no mercy making it a seriously bumpy right.

Luckily after 1 hour 20 minutes of enduring the vicious pounding and lashing of her wrath, we landed safely back in the pier. I SURVIVED! I thought I was going to die at one point. Fortunately, I was a bit nausea after all of that. But I pitied Muk Chen and SS. They were really sick. I don't think I want to go into the details but it wasn't pretty.

So all in all, it was quite good fun. But, this won't happen anytime soon. Hehehe. I just took the smallest and one large Cod for my own consumption because I can't really cook for so much and besides, I'm leaving in a month's time.

Our first batch. The small ones.

This was my catch. :) 3 kgs.

Big Momma. Muahahahaha. What should I call it?

Now we are talking about 20 over Cods here. :D

The eye of the storm. Well, that was only the clear patch in the sky. Scary.

Me safe and sound back in the pier. I looked a bit pale myself.

Daniel and me.

Muk Chen, XYZ, Jose, me and SS.

p/s: That's his name. XYZ. Xiang Yuan Zhou. Not the XYZ-axis okay!

Son of a B***h

There is only one thing which gets me mad and worked-up for those who knew what happened to me in my 3rd year. It is THAT again! Can I get FREE from this forever!

I'm now plagued with a problem from then and for f**k sake can't they do something right for once! What the hell is wrong with them! It was a simple task to just end our stay in that horrid place and this is coming back to haunt me.

I always believe 'Aren't we all old enough to do our responsibilities?' I mean if you can't even sort this simple task in life now how in the hell are you going to be a parent when you have your own household with kids around and paying all the bills and such? So, I don't think I'm asking for much here! (Do note, I'm not being a brat here pushing the blame on them but I have done it before so, I know that I'm capable off doing it! I have my reasons.)

But there is a lesson is to be learnt from here, Juniors. Choose wisely who you want to stay with. You might be the bestest of bestest of friends but living under the same roof with him/her will reveal the true colour and nature of the person. Though that's quite impossible to find out before hand but I hope you guys don't fall into a pit hole like I did.

Also, this is a good test of your patience and tolerance staying with other people. I did learn something from it after all. You will learn it the hard way.

Fearless

Though I have seen it before, I can never get tired of watching Jet Li's kung-fu movies. This is his last Chinese martial arts movie and based on a true story. I still remember when I was young I used to watch his Once Upon A Time In China, Fong Sai Yuk, Tai Chi Master, Last Hero of China and the list goes on.

The trailer - English version.

Here is the song for Fearless(Huo Yuan Jia) by Jay Chou. A bit rap. Hehehe.

Norwegian Products

I think I have to say about their product's quality. IT SUCKS. The cap doesn't open cleanly. This is what I mean.

I opened the water bottle(left) and Arne opened the pepsi(right).

Serious, we don't suck at opening the bottles. It is the manufacturing of it.

Out of 10 caps I tried to open, all 10 caps didn't open cleanly. It is also the same for my apple juice box. When you pull out the seal, it is the hook that snaps not the seal. Damn cacat I tell you. And do note that I do know how to twist properly!

I know they are very environmental friendly but this is stupid. Oh well, they still have a lot to learn.

Scarred For Life

Okay. May be it is over dramatic here but there is an 1 inch(2 cm) long, deep scratch on my forehead. Skin peeled off but luckily it isn't bleeding that much. Well, of course it isn't that deep until you can see my skull. That would leave me to be in the hospital by now. No worries.

I banged into the pitot tube in the wind tunnel. It was on top of the wind tunnel. I turned and it 'doink' on my forehead. Aiyak. There goes my beautiful skin. :(

It seems everyone will eventually bang into that pipe. I know my prof did. Hehehe.

Slow and Easy

Once more, I think I have to do my experiment; the same pressing and clicking. But this time, I got move the Vortex Generators slightly forward. It is going to be a hell time for me because now I have to remove all of the tape I used and re-tape all of them. I spent nearly 2 hours setting that up and there goes another 1 roll of tape. So far, I think I used about 3 rolls of it.

However, this morning I reluctantly got out of bed. No idea why. I usually spring out of bed at the first ring of the bell. I'm still dead tired even though I didn't do anything yesterday. Hehehe. I know. I know. You people out there still have lectures and all and on top of that still have to study. So, I'm pretty sure that you should be even more tired compared to me.

Since as for now they are setting up the wing for me, I think I shall start tabulating 700 points for me to calculate. And oh, I think I might just do half (3 sets) an experiment today. Don't think my body can handle the work today. Wish me luck.

Movie Time

Since my net was cut out for 14 hours, I decided to catch up on my movies yesterday.

1. Curse of the Golden Flower

I got to say, it was STUPID! Set in the Tang Dynasty, it shows a lot of betrayal and scandals by the royal family. But seriously, it was a useless show. Fights weren't decent and there were too much CG.

2. V for Vendetta

Ah, I finally manage to see this show after 1 1/2 years. I have to say I was quite entertained. Very thoughtful and funny at part. Loved the first part where he blew up the Bailey's building with music.

Finally

DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EXPERMIENT!!! I managed to finish all my test for my experiment. After mopping and getting all stressed up about it, it is kinda of over. But being a student from Imperial *cough cough* I did ask my prof to see whether there is anything else for me to do with the wing until he comes back.

Apparently, he is coming back in mid-May. My goodness. By then, I should have completed everything and I would be writing up my report. Oh well, these means I don't need to go to College till then. Doesn't this sound so nice. I still can't believe that Freshers still have to attend lectures after Easter. Poor you. I will think of you when I'm in bed ya. :)

Anyway, here are my babies fabricated by the workshop. My Vortex Generators.

My babies.

They were taped on the wing. Such technologies we have these days.

43 of them on the wing. :)

Comfort Food

Well, after a tiring and hard day's work, I decided to spoil myself with some food. I made fish burger and mushroom soup. It was yummy. Of course, it isn't like GBK but here you gotta make do with what you have right.

Will write something about my experiment later. Sick of it for now. :)

Burger with some salad. You need your greens you know.

The appetiser with the main course. I forgot about fries though.

Oh yea, I added an egg. Hehe.

To end it, I had an After Eight and a big bowl of ice-cream. Yummy!

Bummed Out

I feel a bit bummed out. I was suppose to be awake by 8 a.m to go in for my experiment. But I decided not to. So, I just rolled in bed since it was nice and comfy and hey, I was having a headache too. Must be me not having a meal for the past 14-15 hours.

I pray that when I go in later, I might get something out of it. Oh well. It is 'Heroes' time. Hope that will make me happy slightly better before going in.

Heroes

Attention Heroes fans out there.

It is back today. Will Peter survive this time?

p/s: You want me to watch it first and tell you what happens, Charlotte? I know you will be sitting for your exams then. Muahahahahahaha!

Mission Accomplished

Here are a few things I managed to do for the past week.
  1. Finally, I walked from University back to my hall on Wednesday and Saturday without taking the bus. Gsssssssh! I pancit man by the time I reached on the 6th floor in my hall.
  2. My stabbings on Charlotte, Ee-Lin and Meow were successful. Of course, I don't want you dead, girls. :)
  3. Making onion soup. Turned out to be super salty. There goes my hair.
  4. Did something to take my guilt away for not doing it earlier. You will know soon enough.
  5. Last but not least, my wing finally got tested. About 50% completed. I hope I can get a move on it soon. But damn stress! It's causing my mood swings these days.
Some pictures of my accomplishments:-

It's party time. The Norwegians celebrating their past high school graduation. Beats me!

No more snow already. :(

My last attempt on this. Hahahaha.

Good Morning People

I was suppose to be waking UK up because the EE freshers are having their Management exam today. But guess what. Siew Ping was the one who woke me up. Oppssss sorry. Damn malu only I provided the waking up service and not getting up myself. But serious! Don't know why I'm having this big headache now. Back to sleep! :)

"ALL THE BEST AND GOOD LUCK GUYS!"

Onion Soup

Today's menu was onion soup for dinner. It was ermmm not too bad. But too salty. Sigh. I could feel that a few strands of hair dropping, each time I took a mouth bite of the soup. I think it was mainly the stock and the Parmesan cheese I used. I think I consumed enough salt for the whole year. There goes my blood pressure and hair though I have a lot to spare. :(

It took me nearly 1 1/2 hours to prepare this to get less than 200ml of soup. Gssssssssh. And now, I feel bloated to thanks to the bread. Sigh. No more bread for me.

The onion soup just came out of the oven.

The bread which went along the soup.

Contented

Last night it was kinda nice. I came back super tired and feeling very stressed over my project again. So as usual, I talked to the regulars on MSN which they made me feel better. Thanks ya girls.

The best part of the night was receiving a call from my little bro. FIRST TIME EVER HE DID IT! Patut la there was a blizzard that day. Hehehe. But seriously, thanks a lot. Really needed to speak to someone though it was mainly about his stress-related problem. Not mine. Hahaha. Farny la you, Kai.

Oh well, the day ended me sleeping at 3.30 a.m and ya thanks to my father calling me at 4.30 a.m, I couldn't sleep after that because my neighbour was playing the guitar and singing. Gssssssh. And also, I forgot to full draw my curtains so the sun blinded me at 6.30 a.m. I give up on sleeping la.

But at least, I'm still contented for now. Miss you guys a lot.

The Pros and Cons of Exams

Ah ha. Some crazy topic! But since exams are in the air, I dedicate this post to you guys out there sitting for many many exams. (I'm so dead after this post. Hehehe!)

I know you guys facing exams now will be thinking whether is Cheng Chun sane now. Exams are evil of course. I definitely hated them from the beginning of life. But since I'm in the only (active) Malaysian from Aero in MSoc, I'm proud to say that I'm the only one not sitting for exam NOW. HAH! Sorry la peeps ya! :) Been there done that for 4 years! So, it is time to brag when you all are suffering now! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh sorry ya 4th years. We, Aero people, did suffer our Christmas this year so, we DESERVED not to have exams now! ;)

Anyway, here are the pros and cons of exams.

PROS
  1. You have a daily routine during the holidays. Yes, I know holidays are meant to be fun, lazing around, doing absolutely nothing but at points it is better than staring into space.
  2. Something to focus on. Compared to my situation now, you really NEED something to keep you going to make time fly.
  3. I suppose you can say that we are learning all these stuff to enlighten ourselves. Damn corny. I know. :D
CONS
  1. Stress! What else do you have when there are exams. But remember to chill once in a while.
  2. Oh yea. It is jiwang time. Feeling depressed that you can't get what the lecture notes and tutorials are telling you. And at this point, the guilt comes in for missing those lectures. (Though I never missed a lecture before, I still feel dumb :( )
  3. You think that's bad. The killer is doing past year papers. You might know your notes inside out even memorise word for word but application to the exam papers is a whole different ball game. Then, you begin to cry. Literally! T.T
  4. After feeling defeated and saying 'Why the hell I took this course in the first place', you will be thinking of home. You just want to take the first flight out to Malaysia to run away from all of these. Come on! Don't you all want to do that now? ;) Such a chain reaction of emotions here.
  5. I presume everyone's body clock would have changed or become upside down. I personally say changed into 'vampire mode'. Sleep in the day but study by night. But be careful. Don't miss your exams!
  6. Day in day out, you have to do the same thing over and over again. BORING! For the next coming weeks, your lives will revolve around the library and your room facing the books. No more fun weekends. Poor you all!
  7. You can't go out jalan-jalan when the weather is perfect like now in London. Just seeing people on the lawn or park sun-bathing or just laying there makes you want to do so. To just chill. I know someone would love to go and snap tonnes of pictures. But it is definitely much much better than being in the library where the environment is so tensed. Not to mention the library is hot and stuffy and gawd knows what smell there is there now.
Hmmmmmm. I wonder whether there are anymore pros or cons. But for now, there seems to be more cons than pros for exams. Obviously! Don't worry! I have been there and I know how it feels.

But we are from Imperial. We can overcome all of these adversities and hey, we are THE best in the world. Without these exams, it wouldn't push us further to be the future engineers of the world. Cough cough. How lame is that. LOL! Just enjoy the ride I like to say.

This will all end soon enough and then you all will be off around Europe or back to Malaysia.

But my main message for this post is to say,

"All the best guys and girls, study hard and smart and good luck! JIA YOU AND GAMBATTE!!!"

Just Dead Tired

Today's experiment was a bit useless. The results are very wrong for some odd reason. I really don't know what to do any more. Also I might need to redo some of the old results. This is getting ridiculous. I wonder what's the purpose of my life here.

I started at 8.30 a.m and left at 7 p.m-ish and I'm totally tired. I was suppose to continue my experiment but I ran out of selo tape. An odd reason but may be it is my luck to end the day early. I just took a nap till 10 p.m and I think I better go get more rest. I think I might be getting sick soon.

Just feeling very down now. Can it be jiwang again? Hah! It is bad for health you know.

Blog Update Again

I must have been hallucinating. I can't find the file anymore. Lol.

2. Andrea Bocelli with Sarah Brightman - Con Te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye)

Blog Update

I just added some music to my blog. My mediamax limit sudah pecah already. So, I moved to Radio.Blog first la.

Music from
  1. Il Divo with Celine Dion - I Believe in You
  2. Jennifer Lopez - Adios
  3. Guang Liang - Tong Hua
  4. Guang Liang - Yong Qi
  5. Guang Liang - Di Yi Ci
I know someone anti-Guang Liang but aiya nice la. At least there is one favourite for you too. :)

Please comment on the colour schemes. Thanks.

Good Night.

Clean Wing Done

It is 9.11 p.m and I'm doing with the testing of the clean wing. Tomorrow will be another hell day. So I better go back and rest up well and I have to be back in the next 11 hours. :(

Oh yea, it just snowed again. Gsssssh.

To Be Immortalise

The start of the day was lousy! AGAIN! My wing was installed into the wind tunnel. And now, the shit part begins; calibration of the instruments I will be using. Some idiot before me changed everything I setup before I left for London. So, I have no idea what he changed and 'mua' have to play around with them. This isn't exactly like lego. Arghhhhhh!

Damn stress I tell you. I was on the verge of fainting too because I didn't have my breakfast and it was late in the afternoon. For this only time, I multi-tasked my work today to maximise my time. So, one hand was feeding food into my mouth, the other was clicking the mouse and entering the figures into the excel sheet. Unfortunately, the results for the experiment are still bananas.

Actually I should be down there doing work, but I can't be really bothered now. The tunnel needs some rest since I'm abused it.

But everything changed when I went back to my workstation. To my amazement, I received a printed message. Yes! A printed message NOT a SMS or a printed e-mail but a message directly to my College's printer(Canggih! I know! I love this College). It said 'Cheng Chun 加油(jia you) la.' With a picture. Not going to say what it is. =D

That definitely made my day. And now, I'm back to semangat, hyper Cheng Chun. My colleagues were shocked at my typing speeding because I was practically tapping the keyboards away loudly typing this. Must be the adrenaline I'm having now. I have already done 3 experiments and another 2 more to go. I will be here till 9 p.m. But that doesn't matter I'm happy!

Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner as I would love to immortalise this piece of paper. Will search the university to find one.

To you, I really want to give you a big big hug. Here's a virtual hug la. *Hugs*

Thank you so much for making my day so much better.

Now back for round 4 for my experiment.

Stalking

Every time I hear this word, I will remember about someone who gets stalked quite frequent by random people. You know who you are(and till today I'm still amazed the amount of times you getting stalked in London) but I suppose now it has subsided a bit ya. ;)

It came to me that there are 3 types or stages to stalking.

Stage 1 -
Attraction

This case is the initial case. Harmless I say. But still if it was the same sex stalking, one usually be terrified. It isn't never a good thing. Just be careful.

Stage 2 - Obsession

Ah, this goes along the lines of the stalker saying like 'I breathe for you!' or 'You need me!'. People if you hear this, I think you better cabut as soon as possible. It is a sense of desperation from the stalker.

Stage 3 -
Destruction

As you can see the word 'destruction', it has a more aggressive tone. Quite dangerous when someone says, 'I know you think of me often just as I think of you' or 'Don't make me do something that both of us might regret.' Usually, the person will be willing to do anything to protect or die for the person. They are hallucinating or in their own world.

So, which one are you or have you met anyone like that? Hahaha.

Anyway, I know this is random and funny and weird and some points gay but my housemate attended the funeral of a good girl friend of his who got murdered by her ex-boyfriend. This was an extreme case of stalking. May she rest in peace.

Nevertheless, I was surprised to hear the word 'murder' in Norway since crime rate here is very low. A lot of killings have been happening recently especially major killing in Virginia Tech. It just got me thinking that this is quite scary to be in a world like this anymore. Do not mess with this kind of people. Be careful guys and girls.

Snowing Again

Don't you love Norway! It can still be snowing in mid-April. And now in London it is like 20 degrees. Such a contra. That parking lot was totally black this afternoon. Now, it is white again. I don't know what to say about the weather here. Someone looked at me taking pictures in his room. Must be thinking I'm mad. :D

University Shooting in US

Recently, there is a big shooting in Virginia Tech University. About 33 people died in that and it is really horrible and terrifying. May the victims rest in peace and I hope the families will get through this ordeal.

I know this isn't funny but I couldn't resist saying that the 'shooter' looks like my online friend, Pokguy. I have known him for the past 6 years through utopia and I still keep in contact with him. I even met him in Toronto, Canada last year for 2 hours in Bayview Village. It was awesome reminiscing our glory battles against 18:20! This was my first time meeting up with a total stranger and it is amazing that he knows when I'm sad etc.

'Shooter'

My friend, Pokguy

Don't they look similar. I know Pok is going to kill me for this. He has already threatened to hunt me down. :D Just for the fun of it yea.

A Broken Promise

I promised Siew Ping that I won't be jiwang anymore(not to mention joined her society). But it is impossible to do so when things are not going your way and what makes it worse is that you are in a strange, foreign country and no one is here to help you out. Not physically but emotionally.

Sometimes you want to spill your guts out but you can't. Yea, MSN sure. But it isn't the same when you hear someone's voice or speak in person. That's for me anyway. And what if when no one is online which is the case now since this is the busiest time for everyone as exams are around the corner. You can't just sit in front of the computer waiting for the person to pop up and talk. It is quite depressing and just sad. Of course, I do know that I can't be expecting everyone to be talking to me right now. They have a life too.

I have been told by everyone to just keep going. That 6 weeks is really fast and before you know it you will be back in London. Ya, it sounds great and I'm not really complaining that I'm here in Norway(those who I complained initially to, I have gotten over that). It has been definitely an experience and you don't get this chance in many university to go abroad. But this time, it will twice as long before I head back. And the project is at a dead end for now.

Yes I know that things doesn't always falls in place where you want it to. Yes I know that life is all about learning and we gain experience from it no matter how small or big it is. Yes I know just do it and don't complain(quoted from Siew Ping). But what happens when there is this big, fat obstacle where you can't overcome if it is beyond our control!

All I really need is to hug someone just for a sense of comfort and security. Sounds dodgy, gay whatever you call but screw it! A hug for 5 seconds can reassure someone than a chat of 15 minutes. That is how I feel. Life has to go on.

Give Me A Break

Today I was suppose to start on my wing. And guess what? They didn't do anything to it. They were suppose to clean it before I came back and they did it today. I want to say I'm pissed but I can't because I can't do anything about it. They took this electrical burner to wield stuff and cleaned my wing since it had some grit on. Look crazy but ARGHHHHHHH!

I hope I have better luck tomorrow.

On the bright side, I made 2 soups today. Kiam Chai and mushroom soup. My first time attempting mushroom soup and it was sedaaaaaap I have to say it. Really! :P Something to release my stress a bit.

Kiam Chai on the top and mushroom soup on the bottom.

Mushroom soup with bread. This was my dinner.

Top 10 Greatest Discovery

Since I'm going to be busy with work soon, I decided to chill a bit by watching some Discovery Channels programmes. What caught my eyes was this 1 hour show on the Top 10 Greatest Discovery. And since I'm in the science field why not take a look? So geeky I know but something intellectual for the first time. :D

So here is countdown!

Number 10 - Newton's Laws of Motion

Don't we all know it. First thing we learned in Form 4 Physics.

First Law
An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external and unbalanced force. An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an external and unbalanced force.

Second Law
The rate of change of momentum of a body is proportional to the resultant force acting on the body and is in the same direction.

Third Law
All forces occur in pairs, and these two forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

Number 9 - Microorganism

The microscope used by Anton van Leeuwenhoek.

Anton van Leeuwenhoek discovered microorganisms in 1676. His famous discovery was the protozoa, bacteria and sperms. Using his first simple microscope, a magnifying glass mounted on a small stand used by textile merchants capable of magnifying to a power of 3, he was able to see all these that our eyes can't see.

Number 8 - Penicillin

The discovery of penicillin is usually attributed to British scientist Sir Alexander Fleming in 1928. He grew a pure culture of the mold and discovered that it was a Penicillium mold, now known to be Penicillium Chrysogenum. Without it, many would have died. Guys and girls, do you still remember your biology? ;)

Number 7 - Germ Theory

I had no idea this theory existed.

The germ theory of disease, also called the pathogenic theory of medicine, is a theory that proposes that microorganisms are the cause of many diseases. Although highly controversial when first proposed, it is now a cornerstone of modern medicine and clinical microbiology, leading to such important innovations as antibiotics and hygienic practices.

Number 6 - Law of Inheritance

The laws of inheritance were derived by Gregor Mendel, a 19th century Moravian monk conducting plant hybridity experiments. He cultivated and tested some 28,000 pea plants. His experiments brought forth two generalizations. Mendel's findings allowed other scientists to simplify the emergence of traits to mathematical probability. So, don't worry Mathematicians.

Number 5 - Earth Moves

Ah yes. Very simple. But it changed everything. I still can't believe I did this for A Levels.

The Copernicus Universe.

Copernicus was a mathematician, jurist, physician, classical scholar, Catholic cleric, governor, administrator, diplomat, economist and military leader(Gssssssssh! How many things can one person be!). He was an avid astronomer. So, he gave the idea that the Earth revolves around the Sun not the other way. The Church weren't happy about that since they believed that Earth was the centre of the universe. Oh well, they were proven wrong.

Number 4 - Periodic Table of Elements

Ah ha. Feast yourself on this Chemist.

Do you carry this table with you all the time?

The periodic table of the chemical elements is a tabular method of displaying the chemical elements, devised by the Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869. Mendeleev intended the table to illustrate recurring ("periodic") trends in the properties of the elements. He arranged them like solitaire cards and found that there were trends, 7 to be precised(at that time). He predicted other elements too like boron and aluminium. There is an element named after him. Which one?

Number 3 - E = mc²

Aiya. This equation. Who doesn't know it. In physics, mass-energy equivalence is the concept that all mass has an energy equivalence and all energy has a mass equivalence. Who else thought of it other than the genius Albert Einstein.

Number 2 - General Relativity

Another one by Einstein. Till today, I still don't know what it is about so I will quote it from Wiki. I know I cheated.

General relativity is the geometrical theory of gravitation. It unifies special relativity and Sir Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation with the insight that gravitation is not due to a force but rather is a manifestation of curved space and time, with this curvature being produced by the mass-energy and momentum content of the space-time. General relativity is distinguished from other metric theories of gravitation by its use of the Einstein field equations to relate space-time content and space-time curvature.

And finally,

Number 1 - Natural Selection

Quite bizarre. Biology stuff at number 1. I thought it would be the Big Bang, DNA or something. :)

An observation Darwin did during his trip to the Galapogos.

Natural selection is one of the cornerstones of modern biology. The term was introduced by Charles Darwin in his groundbreaking 1859 book The Origin of Species in which natural selection was described by analogy to artificial selection, a process by which individuals with traits considered desirable by human breeders are systematically favored for reproduction. Natural selection is the evolutionary process by which favorable traits that are heritable become more common in successive generations of a population of reproducing organisms, and unfavorable traits that are heritable become less common.

Well, I hope this wasn't boring. Well, hope there is more out there to be discovered.

I love sushi.
I talk really, really fast.
I have long hair. (Will be kicked out of the house if I did)

Reserved Space

Currently, there is a problem with blogspot for me. I have to continuously make random, small post and then slowly make the post grow. The worst bit is that uploading pictures are going to be a nightmare because those are the one's causing this cacatness. Sigh.

Back and Bored

Already I'm back for 24 hours, I'm bored. Well, I know I'm suppose to rest but it is quite frustrating not doing anything. Yes, I know I'm suppose to do work but I start next week. Oh well, I better rest as much as I can.

Not to mention blogspot is hating me. I can't seem to post most of the times for this week. May be I'm over doing blogging. :)

Every Good Thing Must Come To An End

Contents in the card are strictly P & C!

This was the card given to me from Kai, my awesome little brother. This card is definitely worth much more than my certificate when I graduate. I never dreamt in my life time to receive such a great gesture from anyone before leaving university. Thank you very much Kai. You certainly ended my university life with a bang.

Being in London this time was great. Going bizarre with the freshers, destorying my body clock and eating quite distortedly were part of this. I know I have been in London for the past 4 years but experiencing this is another whole new level. With great friends, comes with great memories for me to cherish for a life time.

This definitely summed every thing up for this trip back to London.

p/s: Kai, I'm going to kill you for asking me to read it on the plane back to Norway. You know why and what will happen if I did read it with you around right? Smart boy! :D

Leaver's Party

Finally, after 4 years in Imperial College, it seems that our reign has ended. Kinda nostalgic I have to say but we have to move on.

The 4th years with the cert from Kai.

The last remaining 4th years standing(clockwise) - Tock, Me, Nik, Kai, Charlotte, Yanti and Qi Zhen.

The ever sweet ex-secretary of Msoc, Charlotte with me.

Tock and me. Hahahaha. This is Tock's first time smiling with his teeth!

Kai and me. Brothers forever.

All I can say that the Leaver's Party was quite a good ending to my stay in London. Food was good and company was better. Everything went quite well and most of all the weather.

And off I go back to Norway which by the way is still snowing. Brrrrrrrr.

Sunset at Kensington Gardens

This was taken on Tuesday. Sorry for the late post. I was busy going everywhere in London. Anyway, Siew Ping 'gila-gila' wanted to go to the park to see the sunset. So, since I was around the corner I followed her. Of course her pictures were nicer than mine but I do try. :)

Sunset.

Facing east.

Facing west.

A plane was passing by.

Facing north.

Siew Ping and I. An end to the day.

Not to mention we woke up at 6 a.m the next day for sunrise but it was quite cloudy. Sigh. Sayang my beauty sleep. Hahaha.

Waiting

Right now, I'm in the library waiting to go for the Leaver's Party. All I just have to say is that, I definitely had a lot of fun this time in London. There were some ups and downs but definitely the ups were much much more than the downs. I never experienced this before and it is certainly something you wouldn't mind doing it again.

I have to admit that I was a bit a pain in the ass at times for bothering the freshers. They are all now into 'studying mode' so I think it is the perfect time to leave now and I have to get back to work in Norway. It would be a grueling next week as my experiment starts again and I have to get in by 8 a.m. Oh well, life has to go on.

Bak Kut Teh Again

I had to make 2 portions of Yew Chai. I didn't know they would eat so much.

Bak Kut Teh with an additional ingredient - tau pok.

Siew Ping's meal I think.

The freshers. Clockwise - Me, Gopi, Kai, Siew Ping, Sze Hwei, Wayn and Zhern Yoong.

This time it was prepared in Imperial College London. This was made for the freshers and I certainly hoped that they enjoyed the meal. They 'wa lapped' everything. I was surprised that I had to prepare 2 yew chai's as I thought guys normally don't eat vegetables. Hahaha. All in good times.

A Sunday To Remember II

Part II of the Sunday. We are now in Buckingham Palace. The day was glorious. I just love it.

The statue outside Buckingham Palace.

Gopi and I.

Syn-In, Kai and Gopi as their bodyguard.

Syn-In, Kai and me.

Queen Victoria herself.

Gopi was trying to become a statue.

We trying to rule the world.

No idea what Gopi was doing with the lion's tail. Very disturbing.

The 3 of us. All happy.

And trying to be cute here.

Last but not least, I would like to say thank you so much to Syn-In for the pictures. She did an amazing job with the pictures. Definitely, the photographer of the day. I will definitely remember this for a long long time. I certainly hoped you guys had fun as much as I did. Now, all back to work ya. :)
