Saturday Blues

I can't believe that it is just 2.48 p.m now. I guess it will be a relaxing day.

I just fiinshed watching Naruto since was a bit delayed on Thursday. Celaka la. Every time, they end the show at the crucial part. The next episode will be aired 2 weeks from now. Aihhhhhh. So long more.

Grilled Honey Chicken

Oh. I forgot to take a picture but aiya. Anyway, it turned out to be quite nice. It was very tangy. I used garlic, honey, parsley, lemon juice and some mustard seeds with some salt and pepper as seasoning.

I first tried to oven it but then it wasn't looking good. So, I decided to grill it. It seemed to be better. :)

I had a side of Caeser salad. Overall, a nice Western dinner.

The Illusionist

It seems that I'm on a movie marathon again. So, this time it's The Illusionist. Besides, the weather outside now is just horrible. Unbelievable. Autumn is here. Boo hoo.

Anyway, the show is certainly entertaining. The magic tricks were good and I think to most occasions, it was CGI. So, okay okay la. But the story was good. I quite like it. Though I have to say, there was a calming aura coming from Eisenheim played by Edward Norton. It was tranquil and I thought he was British. Hahaha.

Walking Thursday

Yesterday after feeling guilty I haven't been exercising for like forever, I decided to walk down to Oxford Street from my place. It was just a straight road down so I suppose it was no harm in walking. Besides, I wanted to get sashimi for my dinner. I just wanted a slab of sake(salmon) and (tuna) but Selfridges now doesn't sell it. Damn it. I susah payah go and find a place where they sell it and now they tutup that counter. Most probably, I will write a suggestion or complain to their customer service.

Feeling disappointed, I decided to go to Japan Centre in Piccadilly to get some Calpico(some white coloured vitagen drink). So, of course I had to walk again. But I always love walking along Oxford Street just jalan-jalan. So many people. So many things to see. Anyway, I just made a tiny pit stop to the Apple Store and there wasn't much to see.

Japan Centre was busy as ever. So, I was strolling up and down looking for some food. To my amazement, I finally found the last slab of sake. I also bought a small mixture of sushi which was quite reasonable. After getting my goodies, I was quite tired so I took the tube back. And never I will travel again during rush hour. It is just like a mad house!!!

I went to see the cobblers for my sister since her sole of the shoes has worn off. And you know what. It is FREAKING EXPENSIVE to just change the sole!!! Celaka!!! Cheat me!!! Hmph. I would say better bring back the shoe and change it in Malaysia. Don't want to give the pleasure of him conning me.

Anyway, it was good day in general and I just woke up. I must have konged out for sometime. Hahaha. What do you expect. I walked about 1.9 miles okay. That's like 3.5 km!!!

Phone Booth

Wahhhhhhhhh. This show quite chilling. I mean for the caller who makes the calls is so eerie and very scary. Well, the caller(Kiefer Sutherland) forced Stu(Colin Farrell) to pick up a phone and made him confess that he was a cheater and basically a fake. How he played and interfere with the life of Stu is definitely brilliant.

But really. Finally, I watched this. I think I have downloaded this show like 4 times. I know. But I think each of them are in different computers.

War

Not bad not bad. Lots of twist and turns here and there but quite chi kek. Well, it went well with my sashimi bento set I made since the theme was slightly Japanese from the Yakusa(Japanese Triads)

Anyway, the story is about an assassin, Rogue, killing people and especially a cop's family. Fueled by revenge, he took the face of an assassin and started to kill each and every Triad in San Francisco - The Chinese and Japanese. He manipulated each and everyone to make them kill each other. I would say it was smart since the Triads can never mix.

Anyway, the twist was that Rogue's initial partner played by Jason Statham was the guy who was hired to kill his family. Shocking eh.

Two Weeks

My parents will be here in two weeks. Aiyaaaaaaaaaa. I have to clean the whole house now. Hahaha. Not to mention cook for them when they arrive for dinner.

To be honest, I haven't cooked anything for my Mom especially. Takut of her kutuking my cooking. Hahaha. But we shall see what they want to eat.

Anyway, for now I'm quite bored. A few people should be heading back to London today. Hope I can go to College and kei poh a bit for freshers week. :)

New Season Banger

I leave for 36 hours and boom!!! 4 episodes of my favourite shows are out. We first have Prison Break and Heroes on Monday. Wahhhhhhhhhh. Too chi kek man now.

- Spoilers Ahead -

Prison Break - Michael now is in a new prison in Panama. That's not the problem because he was suppose to be out under American jurisdiction. But, some evil, powerful General which planned for Michael to be in that specifically is to want him to break out of that prison rescuing another American in solitary confinement. So, that's the twist. Who is this jailed person.

Heroes - So many things has happened. We have Hiro back in 1671. His hero is actually an English. Goodness. Then, we have a few of them moving on with their lives. But the most interesting one was Peter is now in Ireland chaining in a container and he has the genetic symbol around his neck. At least he has short hair not that gay looking fringe he had.

NCIS - What a shocker!!! Tony dies at the first half of the show. I nearly pengsan. But oh well, they are back continuing from the previous episode where Tony was following La Grenouille a.k.a 'The Frog'. I hope the series continues and follow up with these powerful arm dealers.

Bones
- Well, I have no idea why Zack was sent to Iraq for war but I guess I have to watch old Season 2 to find out. Anyway, it is still quite funny with Agent Booth and Bones bickering and all the sarcasm they leashed out at each other. Just good fun.

Tiring Tuesday

Well, I'm back from Birmingham today although it was just a 4 hour stop-by before we took the bus back to London which was a nightmare. Will report on that later.

Anyway, we started off by sending off Heng Yong to Warwick and just simple to make him comfortable in his new environment. I wish all the best to you and I'm sure you will be alright. I was overseeing a big brother taking care of his little brother. So sweet of him. Nice work there Heng Kai. ;)

Just a side note about Warwick, that it's quite a nice campus not too big yet not too small. The surroundings were quite nice and tranquil. The hall I went to see was right nice and compact and it was strategically located in the campus. And the best part I loved was that each room was given a recycling bag so that they can recycle their recyclables every week. Excellent. GO WARWICK!!!

So, we then took the train to Birmingham since it was 3.60 pounds per person per way there. Not bad and it was fast about 20 minutes. But the best part was taking the new Virgin Trains!!! Okay. I might be a sucker for this but seriously, it is damn cool. I know these trains has been out for nearly 3 years but seriously la. It looks so cool!!! And of course, there is much more that its looks. It's top speed is 120 miles which is fast especially using the old tracks and the train can counter-rotate to balance the force when it goes around a bend.

Birmingham. Hmmmmmmm. We reached there about 1ish and Joanne took us to Big Wok and we ate this Chinese buffet for 5 pounds. Wahhhhhhh. How to eat like that la. But of course, now mua jaga badan, I don't really eat so much. What can I say about it. Just that it has been slightly modernised. Loads of new developments. And it's quite big and all.

So, then this was where the nightmare started. We left Birmingham at 5 p.m and of course that was during rush hour. It took a while to get out of the city centre but that wasn't the main problem. It was more of the M40 at Junction 9 and 10 having been blocked due to an accident. Not to mention, the bus wasn't exactly smelling so nice and having a talking-to-herself-mad lady singing her lungs out. I almost lost my iPod too since it slipped out from my pocket. Thanks Heng Kai for reminding me.

Joanne wasn't feeling well too. She had a migraine and hope she feels better now because she is heading off to Paris today.

Anyway, have fun gang in Paris. I'm sure you all will enjoy the city. It's one of the best places to be with someone.

Warwick Wave

Hey people. Greeting from Warwick. I'm here because Im off to send Heng Kai's brother to university. Hahaha. Well, I suppose I had nothing to do since I have been very very bored in London.

However, the weather has been appaling today. It just rained and rained and rush hour today was bad. I had to wait for the 3rd tube to head off to Victoria. Then at that station it was just tonnes of people queueing to enter the station. Basically, it is just havoc. Not to mention, all this tornadoes here and there in the UK

Anyway, we managed to get on the Megabus(by the way, it's not in Victoria Coach Station but behind a shopping mall). So for now, we have explored a bit of Coventry and that's about it really.

We also headed off to Warwick University to try to find out more information for Heng Yong. Man, I can't believe I'm out of that vicious process

Tomorrow we will be heading off to Birmingham after settling Heng Yong. Time to see Meow Meow. But to be honest, I haven't seen Birmingham before in daylight.

Surprise Sunday

Well, I got a call from Wann Jia at 11.30 a.m for a dim sum lunch appointment. To be honest, I was quite shocked that I got a call from her because she has been extremely very busy since she is in almost in her final year. Since I had nothing for lunch, I headed off for Chinatown. The met up was also with Jia Hong which I haven't seen for some time. Well, it's just nice to meet up with good friends and yum cha. :)

On the way waiting the bus for Wann Jia, to my surprised and amazement, I saw Muz in front of Japanese Centre. I just recently facebooked him about meeting up with him and he was just there in front of my face. Honestly, my facial expression was like O_O and I was flustered. Well, of course it was great to finally see him in person for 1 year.

Anyway, I continued my evening meeting up with Wei Shen since he just arrived from Malaysia yesterday. He wanted to find some sheets and duvet covers since he just moved to a new place in London. So, he scowled the whole of Oxford Street to find cheap sheets which is obviously hard to find there. Argos had some but it seems that everything is quite sold out. I suggested to go to Marks & Spencers for the bed sheets and found a brown one for his double bed.

We then headed off to John Lewis to get his super-light duvet and has a mini tea there. Though I think I was ripped off for my fruit smoothie. I was given the Innocent fruit smoothie. Celaka. Oh well. The company was good and my scones with clotted cream. To die for. :P

So today's dinner was kiam chay soup with steam promfet. So nice. Just needed some kiam buoy and coriander leaves. Hehehe.

Well, I will be heading off to Warwick for a night. Better to do something than nothing. And enjoy the weather as much as possible too.

Hairspray

Aren't I watching many musicals? So, now we have Hairspray. Very the 1960's. Super gelled hair or heavy on the hairspray. Jon Travolta(top left in the poster) acting as the mother. Not bad. To my surprise, there is Zac Efron from High School Musical playing as Link.

So, the show is about segregation between the whites and blacks as they couldn't dance together on t.v. So one girl, Tracy played by Nikki Blonsky who loves dancing and singing tries her best to integrate both races. '

Integration not Segregation

Don't we all wish racial disputes can be this easy.

High School Musical 2

Tadda. The premiere was shown today. Finally. You guess it again. We, one of the leading countries in the world, shows this the last. Even Malaysia beat us to this. But anyway, the show is slightly more matured and deeper with feelings. The music has different beat altogether. All in all, good show.

Sorry Natasha you can't see it. I suppose you can watch it back in KL. ;)

Lunch Meet

Yum yum. Had Royal China's dim sum with Arjun and it's still yummy. Met Jimmy Choo and his wife there too. Oh well, I didn't want to greet him thinking that I might be some sua ku. I suppose I could have said thank you for making my sister's wedding shoes.

Meet Again

Just met up with Heng Kai, his brother, Heng Yong, Cindy, Joanne and Yin Mei(for the first time) in Four Seasons. Well, they were hungry and thirsty after dragging about 120kgs worth of stuff.

So long for that dragging torture in my case. These days just take taxi. Save time, save my back from being broken.

Welcome back Juniors. Note no more freshers. But juniors. :)

Thoughtful Thursday

Hmmmmm. One more day till the weekend is here. I suppose I get a chance to see my sister since nowadays she leaves before I wake up and after I sleep.

Is investment banking that great? Are you willing to get get about 3-4 hours asleep every day and even work on the weekends. Yea, I suppose you will be compensated with the 2-3 year bonus but do you think you will carry on till you are 65 years old?

Just makes me wonder how about a social life or if you want to start a family. I heard that they need dating services to get help because the working life is so harsh that you need help to find someone.

I suppose I can't really compare now because I still haven't started working yet. But working in Norway was so cool. 8-4 working hours and finito. I can cabut. Some even come in later and leave early. How cool is that. That's Norway for you.

Aiya, just become a house husband lah. Simple.

Millau Bridge

Well, I made a post about it in my Top 10 Bridges and there was this picture which I really like was taken. You have the biggest plane in the world with the tallest bridge in the world. What a sight.

The marvel of extreme engineering of our times.

Here are some recent pictures taken. The bridge seems to be in the sky. So elegant and beautiful.

Some stats about this bridge:
  1. 2,460 m: total length of the roadway
  2. 7: number of piers
  3. 77 m: height of Pier 7, the shortest
  4. 343 m: height of Pier 2, the tallest (245 m at the roadway's level)
  5. 89 m: height of a mast
  6. 154: number of shrouds
  7. 270 m: average height of the roadway
  8. 4.20 m: thickness of the roadway
  9. 32.05 m: width of the roadway
  10. 85,000 m³: total volume of concrete used
  11. 290,000 tonnes: total weight of the bridge
  12. 10,000–25,000 vehicles: estimated daily traffic
  13. €5.40–7.00: typical automobile toll, as of July 2007
  14. 20 km: horizontal radius of curvature of the road deck

First Rain in September

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Autumn is here. It has already started raining. So, prepare your brollis my Londoners coming from Malaysia. Temperature wise is still mild so don't worry too much about that.

On the other hand, I had a watery dinner. With just soup and orange juice to go around for at least 3 days. Hope that my tummy can handle the mixture of them.

Should I Be Less Sensitive?

Some say that I don't have a sense of humour or I should lighten up or just chill. But seriously, how I can expected to make a comment or talk about lameness if some of the topics talked about are just pure nonsense. No offense to them but I might I have reached a point that all of these are just immature and dumb.

I'm not saying that I never talk cock at all now. I do at times but in normal conversations with my friends, never so many times we talk about 'your face looks like shit' for just the sake of a joke about it and laugh. Seriously, how can that be funny?

Some comments or conversations also are insulting. I mean fine you want to insult as a kind of a joke but I don't think that's even nice to even mention it as a joke. Who are you kidding? If you are a friend, I don't think a friend would belittle you or make stupid remarks insulting you. For the fun-no-hard-feelings-jokingly-friendly sort of way. Yea okay fine. But to do it all the time. I don't know.

Should I be less sensitive?

Wary Wednesday

Very sluggish indeed today. Woke up at 10.40 a.m which was unusual for me since my body clock should force me to wake up by 8 at least. Must be tired for the past few days because I have been slightly active with my utopia. Kekeke.

Anyway, trying this recipe to make mushroom soup from Jamie Oliver. To be honest. It is so long to prepare. Cut FINELY mushroom, celery and onion. So of course this will take extra time. I suppose this can feed me for 3 days. Just hope it's fine because I used another chicken stock.

Prison Break

I'm done. Season 2 has been quite entertaining. Not as cheem as the first season. It could be because that it was the ingenious plan of getting out of the jail. But this season basically they are running around the country evading all the authorities.

All my girl friends were saying Michael Schofield played by Wentworth Miller is just sexy. Hahaha. Well I think he has the softer feature than most men. What do you expect when you have African-American, Jamaican, English, German, Cherokee, Jewish, Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese blood in you. And I thought we Malaysians can be rojak but this is really rojak.

I think this is still a good series and I'm ready to watch Season 3 which was out yesterday.

Weather Update

It seems that the weather is getting more chilly now. But on the bright side, it's super sunny. Brace yourself for a nice cold autumn.

I have a few things to do today.
  1. Finish Prison Break.
  2. Start my sister's car.
  3. Go to Sainsbury.
  4. Cook tom yum since it's getting cold.
  5. Clean the house.
  6. Go to the clobbers.
Oh well. Easy pissie. :)

No Update

Hehehe. Well, not that many people read my blog anyway, but just that I have been quiet for the past 24 hours because I have been on a series marathon - Prison Break. I will report more about it tomorrow. 4 more episodes and I will be done. Yay!!!

Sunday Marathon

For the past 3 weeks on Sunday, Channel 4 has been airing The Lord of the Rings. From the first part to the last installment, this shows definitely gave wonders and possibilities to the realm of elves, orcs, humans, dwarves, halfings and undeads. Well, I don't think I need to explain the movie. It's the all time best movies of our times.

That's why I love my utopia.

Sunday Boredom

Yes I know. Sunday is the time where we should enjoy as much as possible. However, for me I have been just slugging around doing nothing. Well, I did a little noodle soup for lunch with salmon and spinach. Then, watching a bit of T.V and then my bed started to call me. I tried to resist its calls but the power of persuasion og my bed was too great.

Anyway, my rest was good and I woke up with quite a strange dream. Got to do with eating nasi lemak, karipap and cendol with Heng Kai. Oh yea, he has a big white grey dog too. Hahaha.

That's weird I have to say.

Sunday's Sun

Okay. Obviously today is Sunday but seriously! The sun is just like lasering its rays everywhere. It's just so bright until I need to use my night curtains to block them out. Well, of course it's great to have such weather like this and we Londoners can't ask for more especially in September. Leaves are suppose to be changing in colour but looks like the trees will get more food for this winter.

So, it comes to the question now of me getting a new pair of shades. To be honest, I'm not really a shade person(can I?) due to the fact I can't wear most of the 'look cool ones' i.e. macam Neo from Matrix!!! Of course I would love to look yau yeng(who doesn't!!!) and as they say protect your eyes from the UV rays etc but it's due to the fact of me having a flat nose!!! So sad I tell you. The shades doesn't sit on my bridge and it will just be hanging and will fall on my cheek.

Oh well, I suggest I have to slowly find of one. But the other problem I have is that to wear shades you might need to wear contacts. Yes yes. That's not really a big problem but then I need to wear them. Of course, you have shades with power but it's just cacat to carry two pairs of glasses everywhere you go. Not that I carry a handbag!!! And I hate the clip-on shades. Very the apek lah. :D I know I'm fussy. Hehehe.

How not to look cool!!! :P So how many pairs of shades do you have people? I know Heng Kai has found his long lost all true super cool shades. ;)

Independence Day

More than a decade for this show and I'm always entertained with it. Mass destruction, bombs and missile and laser beams everywhere. You guy got to love war sci-fi shows. Aliens trying to destroy Earth and we fight back for humanity. Will Smith played a funny role and being him, he is just good.

So we see the White House, New York and Los Angeles. That was should one of a big blow to the Earth.

Bar Shu

My sister(finally I get to see her after 10 days) wanted to go to Bar Shu, a Sichuan restaurant in Soho. We had aubergine and seabass. Well basically, all their cooking were about the chilli. Overall, it's so so. Nothing to shout about.

Cooking

I think this is an obsession now. I have been cooking frantically because I'm just bored. Well, as you know I have baking too. But to be honest, I love cooking. From little I always sat at the sidelines in the kitchen where my mom was the master in that area of the house. Watching her making rendang, pineapple tarts, laksa, Terengganu kei hong, cha luan and spring rolls!!!

Now, this is making me drool. But recently, this is the best therapeutic way I find and get things off my minds since recently I have been boggled and flooded with everything.

So, now just be happy and smile always.

High School Musical

Okay. I know this is like a super teen movie but trust me. I have seen adults dancing around. Oh well, I'm not that young. This is an original movie by Disney and it came an instant hit around the world. A lot of a catchy music and dance moves here and there.

The story revolves about a guy and a girl good at their own games. Troy is a team captain for his basketball team whereas Gabriella is a super smart girl. So, Troy and Gabriella - two teens who are worlds apart, meet at a karaoke contest and discover their mutual love for music. And it all started there.

So, lots of music and dance. Funny and just for kids la. I should be a kid too. :)

There is High School Musical 2 out already. So, I can't wait to see what they have done.

Kal Ho Naa Ho

It's Bollywood time. I seriously have no idea why I saw this film. It was at midnight yesterday and it ran till 3.30 in the morning. Obviously, I couldn't tahan for that long but of course I taped it. :)

Anyway, what caught me with this show was that it was funny and best of all it was in New York. Hahaha. Speak of the devil. The show revolves around an Indian girl(Preity Zinta) who refuses to fall in love. She has a very good friend who loves her but refused to tell her.

Until came Aman(Shahkurn Khan) who is an irritating, funny new neighbour who just arrived. So, he tasks was to open her heart to me but of course he falls in love with her. But the main reason he arrived to New York was to get treatment for a weak heart. How very tragic. At least there wasn't any fighting what so ever. Just pure fun.

One of the soundtrack came from this movie for Art of Wok. I was surprised that they took it from here and the moves were taken from there too. An excellent sound selection I have to say. All very happy happy.

p/s: Sorry, I don't have a poster or trailer for this. Not many Bollywood trailers you know.

Talking about Bollywood movies, the Indian actresses are so pretty. No wonder they make fine Miss World. Look at Aishwarya Rai. Perfect and exotic. Amazing eyes and flawless skin. She deserved to win that award.

Ocean's 13

Finally. I managed to watch this. I know it wasn't high up in my list but I thought with a funny cast this should have been quite interesting how the steal $500 million from a casino.

Basically, an evil shrewed casino owner out played his partner who is Ocean's(George Glooney) friend. And what they do. The whole team is back to take revenge. The new added person in this show is Terry Benedict(Andy Gracia) who is the owner of the other rival casino. I would say losing $500 million in 3 1/2 minutes is quite painful.

This reminds me that I should be heading back to Las Vegas and I really want to stay in Bellagio. But who knows. There are more new hotels there. The sin city. The city where the fantasies never end. The best part is that I'm at the age where I can gamble. Muahahahaha. Just kidding. :D

Orange Cake

Ah ha. Much better now. Everything didn't splatter everywhere like the last time. Anyway, the recipe is quite easy. Just use a butter cake recipe and replace it with the vanilla essence to some orange juice and zest. Tadda. A cake is made.

But then I got injured along the way. I grated by skin. Eeewwwww. Don't worry no extra ingredients were added to the recipe. I would faint too. Hahaha.

The end product.

Dubai

I'm not too sure whether you guys heard of these but seriously when I saw this on National Geographic, it's just mind boggling. How can anyone build 300 over islands in the middle of the sea. This is the biggest reclamation project undertaken in the world. Even much more than Singapore since Singapore always LOVE to reclaim their land.

The World

So, what is the The World? The World represents the world of course where people can but plots of island in each continent and build a private residence on it. But, it seems that corporations are buying it and converting the place to resorts. The only way you can go to your island is by boat compared to The Palms.

The Palms

Talking about the The Palms, they were the first project in Dubai to do such a reclamation project. 30 million tonnes of sand and 18 million tonnes of rocks needed to be placed accurately to prevent erosion from the element of the sea.

There are 3 Palms in Dubai now and these can be seen from space. Dubai is currently pushing for this icons and large projects. Although, they have oil but that will be running out shortly in 2016. So, they need another plan to replace that. Tourism. Let's see what they have.

Al-Burj Arab Hotel

The first 7-star hotel in the world. The tallest hotel in the world too. The first hotel to be on a man-made island which apparently, sinking. Hmmmmmm. You can also eat gold here. To enter, you have to pay $25. No kidding man. Oh well, definitely on my list to visit. Oh yea, we are talking about $2000 a night yes. Worth it huh. :D

Ski Dubai Resort

Talking about a ski resort in a desert. Now, can you imagine the amount of water and cooling system needed to make this. Yes, Malaysia has a snow resort but not at this scale.

Wild Wadi Waterpark

Another feat to have so much water in a desert. Dubai seems to be the land of the impossibles these days. This is next to the Al-Burj Arab Hotel.

Burj Dubai

And not to mention home to the tallest building in the world. This is going to be over 800 metres and it is definitely going to be an icon. The building is still being constructed and when it is finished, it would be able to withstand the sandstorms in Arab able to be bend about 3 feet of centre. I will try to find out more about this building.

And for tourism to be successful, you need shopping!!! Well, can't really say much about them because they say it all. But they certainly have tonnes of shopping centres though not as big as ours back home. But I won't be surprised that they would build the biggest in the world soon enough. For your information, the biggest mall in the world is in China, South China Mall in Dongguan.

Happy Again

Well, I'm happy again. Hahaha. This is really PMS. However, thanks to Tanya for your forward email. It really helped me. I feel much better now. Good luck with your work. Jia you!!!

New York

Welcome to the Big Apple. We reached in the mid-evening after a 3 hour bus ride from Washington. So being the American thing we took their Greyhound buses. Anyway, we stayed in Little Korea which was quite nice but seriously New York is the BOMB!!!

So, our first stop was to the Empire State Building because is was just 1 block behind the hotel so we took the chance to go up to the observation deck.

The Chrysler Building.

Downtown New York. More like the Financial District.

The building at the Y junction used to be the tallest building in New York in the late 1850.

New York Public Library.

You are fired!!!

Times Square. Yay!!! So much light!!!

Empire State Building.

And this was the last night where I was going to be well. In the middle of the night, I had food poisoning. A bad one. Basically, everything came out and I thought the world was coming to an end. I think I had an overdose of oil in my body and it was rejecting all of it. Eeewwwwwwww. So, I was semi-bedridden. Poor sister of mine had to go shopping by herself in Macy's etc and she couldn't go and eat her pork ribs.

Obviously, I recovered in the next 36 hours and we DEFINITELY had to see the Statue of Liberty. We had to be there early to catch the ferry to Liberty Island.

Fat gull!!!

The Statue of Liberty. The symbol of starting a new life in America.

The first torch held by her.

Ellis Island where all immigrants at that time were held before they could touch the land of America.

The bull to represent a bullish economy.

Wall Street.

NYSE. Yay. Don't you feel the power. :P

Ahhhhhhhh. The whole point of this past posts. Groud Zero. Just imagine I would be standing up on the 110-storey taking breathing pictures. Now, it's just empty. Oh well, I can't wait for Freedom Tower.

Brooklyn Bridge.

Metropolitan Museum.

Central Park. Of course you have to come here right.

Central Station. It is very grand. Must see it.

So, our last day ended of course with shopping. I tell you. Shopping here is soooooooo great!!! Heaven man. We went to the factory outlets and my goodness. It is so cheap. My Nike trousers cost like $14 and just what it was the kid's XL. And it was still big. I love America!!!

New York. Just you wait. I will be back soon enough. And actually I would love to go back to Washington.
