Today, it is the Norwegian National Day. Celebrated on the 17th of May each year, this represents the day where the Swedish gave back the land to Norway. To cut the story short, it is another day to go to town and have fun. I felt very underdressed as many wore suits and their traditional costumes.
Today, it is also the first time where all the people of Trondheim came out of their hibernation. The city centre was packed with people and it was definitely a cheerful atmosphere. The weather was nice but on the cold side. Either way, the parade was certainly different compared to Malaysia. People are free to do whatever they want.
