Destination: Singapore

Gila blogger as Heng Kai says. Hahaha. Anyway, I'm in the old KL train station off to Singapore. It seems to be a full bus and I hope the ride is going to be good. Don't want a hell driver but of course I want to reach in Singapore asap to start my shopping.

This morning waking up at 5.45 a.m getting ready for this trip reminds me off going to Victoria Institution. The early we left the house, the earlier we reached school. But if we were late by 3 minutes, I would be delayed for 12 minutes. Crazy traffic I tell you in KL at those times. I heard it's even worse nowadays.

*Ding dong* "Bas anda sedia berlepas!"

Okay okay. I need to go now. Don't miss me too much. Tata.

Happy Birthday Sister

Happy Birthday Sister. I know I won't be able to celebrate it with you this year since I'll be going to Singapore for my second graduation. I will make it up to you soon.

Off to Singapore

Well, I wanted to post for today but I'm really not in the mood to do so. So, I will skip this time.

Thank goodness I'm going to Singapore tomorrow. This will help me keep me sane. Till then.

Thank you Thank you!!!

Another birthday treat. Another birthday dinner. It's all so yummy and pretty. Thank you so much uncles and aunties, guys and girls. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Last night, we went to a Thai restaurant in Pan Global were Luna Bar was. The restaurant was fine dining and the food was nice. It's suppose to be the Top 100 restaurants in Malaysia and I think it should be there. The appetisers were great and overall, yum yum. When it comes to Thai food, I will say yes one. So you know where to take me lah ah peeps. :P

An End to A Great Day

Today was certainly one of the best birthdays. I ate, drank and ate again. What can you do in KL la besides not eating. So, after a fast dinner from my family, I was getting ready for a series marathon. Then I get a call from my good old buddy, Yew Kuan and they wanted to bring me out for a drink. So, I said why not.

It took us some time to decide where to go for a drink and to have a cake. Nevertheless, I suggested to go to Sky Bar in Traders Hotel since I have been yearning to go to the bar ever since. So, I took this opportunity to go. And once again, I was so under-dressed!!! I can't believe that I been under-dressed twice in a month.

This is so embarrassing for me because I nearly got kicked out from the bar because I was under-dressed lor. I said I was a guest from the hotel and it was my birthday. Well, of course the latter was true but not the first one. Hehehe. Anyway, luckily they had the casual 'part' at the bar for anyone like me a surfer dude with my super big Hawaiian shorts. We got an inner table which was not too bad but later on moved to a nicer view of the KLCC. I suppose this was my lucky day.

Anyhow, we had drinks. Let's see. I had a Breakfast martini and a Flaming Lamborghini. I tell you it was so great and nice. Presentation was excellent. They said to drink it as fast as possible. So, I really did. OF COURSE NOT drinking the fire okay. I'm not THAT DRUNK yet. And to end my alcohol aftertaste, I had a Shirley Temple. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Burn the alcohol first.

Was just thinking what in the world was the tall bottle for.

Fire away!!! :P Though I was so proud that the waiter said I was good at drinking this. Hahahaha.

Our view from our seats. Not bad eh.

My great 2 pals. Jia Jer and Yew Kuan. You are the best guys.

So, what a perfect end to my birthday. Simple yet great and nice.

Oh wait, I haven't finished there yet. We went around KL again to find food thanks to Mr Chen and we went to Kedai Hokkien Mee near VI. Talking about food. It was yummy. Hehehe.

p/s: Sorry ya. Quality of the pictures no good due to the camera phone I had. Better than nothing.

Thank You So Much

Thank you very much for the wishes guys and girls. It really means a lot to me and definitely I will try to celebrate my birthday to the fullest.

It has been a long time I have celebrated my birthday back in Malaysia(6 years to be exact) and so far, I can say it's really great. Relaxing, slow and easy. You know those kind of days. Not that I'm not really experiencing super-stress related working problems at the moment.

I wonder is there more to come?

My Lovely Sam Soon

Gsssssssssssh. Good Korean series. So happy and drama too. Korean seems to be a rough language when they start shouting but all in all very nice. Go watch it!!! All about baking, food and most of all, LOVE. What's a drama without love eh. ;)

The main 4 characters are:-

Sam Soon - She is so funny!!! Can't believe she is exactly like my sister. Lol.

Hyun/Sam-shik - Wahhhhhhhh. He is gorgeous. Have to say, I love his hair with/without gel. Even under rain, it looks so good. Gssssssssssh. Hahaha.

Hee-jin - Like a goddess. A bit skinny but utterly pretty. It can't be compared.

Henry - That one dunno what to say. Some knight in white shining armour. Shine so bright until I'm blind. So just imagine how good looking he is lol.

L to R(clockwise) - Sam Soon, Hyun, Henry and Hee-jin.

Happy Birthday Father

The title says it all. We got my dad a Burberry toiletry bag. He loves his Burberry so okay la. That's his birthday present. To be honest, it is quite hard to get a present for him since he has everything but I suppose this bag is super big he can keep his pharmaceutical stock of medication in it. :)

p/s: So full now that I feel like exploding. We had Japanese buffet in PJ Hilton.

Final Friday

Today was the last day I get to spend with my sisters. Well, eldest one to be exact. First thing in the morning we went to the temple for a blessing for the newly wed and for my other sister. I was dragged along because I had to do something. Ah!!! This will be a shocker for you guys.

I became a secretary for 1 1/2 hours. Hahahahahahaha. My dad's secretary was on medical leave so I had to go in to write some important e-mails. Well, can't say that my dad is computer illiterate but asking him to write an e-mail using Outlook isn't like reading A B C.

Then it was my Korean series marathon. Crap man. Don't tell me I'm going to be addicted to it. The actors and actresses are so beautiful and drop dead gorgeous. Now I see the hype about them. Will write a review after I finished it. I just finished episode 13. So tomorrow I shall continue. :P

As for now, kena tidur because sister will be leaving at 6 a.m. Hmmmmmmmmmm. A bit early for my liking but what to do.

Clash of Times

Ah ha. This is another sport entry for me to write and it's on tennis again. Clash of Times as they promoted it. Pete Sampras vs Roger Federer. Very rare they play like this. So, I bought the tickets when I was in London and the seats given to us were not too bad though I was slightly disappointed that I didn't get to choose the seats. Going to write in to complain about it.

Anyway, the match was good and of course Federer, the world champion won. The game was 7-6, 7-6 which was better than the previous match in Shanghai. The crowd were certainly noisy before, during and after each game and set. Not to mention crying babies. If you know me, I would have killed all of them. Hehehe.

However, I felt that I didn't have the same adrenaline like in Wimbeldon. This was just an exhibition game afterall where the players didn't seem to go all out. I know Sampras did his best but oh well. Old already kua. :)

Overall, a good outing with the family before everyone starts making their long journey back to USA and UK.

Mahatir Lokman. He has slimmed down man. :P

Drummers. Hmmmmmmmm. Not too bad actually.

Jacklyn Victor gave a little song or two.

Traditional dances.

Pete Sampras!!!

I'm waiting!!! Hehehe. Roger Federer enters.

Warming surf by Sampras. But very good.

And Federer. So fast!!!

My whole family. :)

Me and my sister.

Other sister with Costas.

It was here!!! Sampras was not too happy about that!!!

Pui!!!

And the winner is Roger.

Penuh Sampai Nak Mati!

Wa ai si liao. Eat so much like can die. Hahahaha. Tham chiak I know but food was good. It could have been better as the quality has gone down slightly. The variety has been limited and I suppose all good things has to be down at times.

Though I have to say KL Hilton is a mad house. So many people at 11 p.m still checking-in and coffee house with loads of people queuing to enter. I quite like that hotel too.

Hungry Hungry. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Hungry laaaaaaaa. Yea yea, I know I'm in a land where being hungry is not in any Malaysian vocabulary. However, I'm just starving myself for a super dinner tonight at the KL Hilton. I love their buffet. Simple, elegant and tiny portions with a big finale.

Anyway, I'm partly deaf because my sister shouted into the earpiece of another phone and it somehow amplified it 100 times. So, sorry if I don't hear you first time around. :)

The Good and The Bad of Holidays

Bing bang tong ting. Gila la this construction near my house. Yes, I know I have ramble about this since the beginning of time but can I not get some sleep till may be past 9 a.m for once. It's just irritating. Though I also get the morning calls from my family shouting breakfast is ready, faster get ready or even coming into my room, 'OI WAKE UP!'

What a shocker aye for me coming back for this so called holiday. :)

To be honest, I'm just worried that I have been putting on some weight. Okay okay. A LOT of weight. Some people said I lost weight(so how I wished) and some people said I gained weight(and said I look better more filled and handsome). So which one you like.

Skinny tek ko(bamboo) Cheng Chun or

Fatty huan chu(sweet potato) Cheng Chun. :P

Anyang Sae Yo

Sorry ya peeps. I have been 'busy' with work today. More like busy watching Korean series. Kakaka. Anyang sae yo!!! To be honest, I hardly watch it because it's dubbed in Mandarin and it's cacat. But now, it's not too bad.

Sleep Again. Gsssssh!

And now more sleep. It's just 11:10 p.m and my eyes can hardly open. Oh well, bed time. Sorry for the lack of blogging. It's sooooooo tired. Long day at Pavilion where we had a great time.

Sleep Bersleep

I'm still tired. I can't believe after resting for 8 hours + 2 hours in the afternoon I'm still so tired. My eyes can hardly open. But if I do go back to sleep, I would have a terrible headache. That's a sign of being a pig. Oink oink. Compared to some guys and girls I know who can menge-zhu like mad. :)

Well, as for today, the real eating marathon starts. I can go all out now. Muahahahahahaha!!!

Today Is The Day

It's time. After more than 1 year of preparation, it comes down to this. Wish my entire family good luck and hope we can stick together through this happy ordeal.

Signing off for 36 hours.

Quick Update

Okay. This is officially crazy. I know I like Ming Room's food but I have been there 3 times in 3 days. Gsssssssssh. I think even the waiters know that we are super frequent customers. Dr Donald Lim, Deputy Minister of Tourism was there too. So, the food must be really good.

We went for Korean food again with the Diep family. As usual food was good and we were smoked alive. All in a good day and the worse has yet to come.

This Is Crazy

I'm getting up earlier and earlier by the day. I woke up at 2, 4 and 6.30 for no reason. I suppose I'm getting a bit excited for the wedding and I really hope it's going to be quite an exciting one. The In-laws were fun and most of all, NOISY. And here we thought the Chinese can be noisy but they are a walking boombox. Oh well, they still haven't seen the Chees side yet. ;)

Anyway, they came in full force to the house and loved every part of the house. Big grounds, great view and such. Then the food for last night was great too. First time having a 8 course meal in the Ming Room in Bangsar Shopping Complex. DELICIOUS. Though there was so much food, they said that they haven't eaten this much before in their life. They have seen the true 10 meal course yet. Hehehe.

At the end of the day, my long distant relative from Paris arrived(which got lost a bit) will be staying with us for 2 nights. They are currently staying in my room and are enjoying my room(which by the way, have the great view!!).

So, just hope in the next 48 hours, it would be an enjoyable day.

Monsters-In-Laws

This would be my first time meeting them so hope they are fine. They are on the way. *Bite nails* Oh wait! I can't. I just did a pedicure and manicure. Kakakakaka.

p/s: It's not gay to do the above!!! Just to clarify things.

Thursday Tranquility? NOT!

I can't believe I'm up this early to blog. No wait. Even up this early to wake up!!! Celaka. Outside construction started at 7.50 a.m. Then, the house is like rejoicing with so much music. Goodness. Well, luckily I had some sleep before that.

But I know I had a scary dream. I was sitting for UPSR and SPM. It was back in my old primary and high school. Then I could fly. Oh wow. Loved the old times as usual.

Well, off to Chinatown and makan Wan Tan Mee!!! :P

Stressmania?

If this is how an upcoming wedding is suppose to be then die la like that. Everyone is just so stressed up and so paranoid that something will go wrong. Oh well, that's the process of it and one day I will end up like that too. Everyone is just cranky at the moment.

As for now, I think I'm quite tired and getting more tired by the day. Just have to power-up for the main day on Saturday.

Wish my family luck.

Orchids and More Orchids

So here are some side pictures I took going around. Well, just one place to be exact. The Orchid Farm. Hehehe. Can or not camera sifu? :P

Enjoy!

Oh yea, have to pay for these pictures you know. Like 10 photos for RM5!!! But of course I didn't pay because my Mom bought like RM240 worth of orchids. Hehehe.

Mobile At Last!!!

I got a new toy for the house and it's a wireless router. The only problem I have is with the router is that the radius is too short to reach my room!!! I suppose it said 100 metres without walls and such and my room is like 26 metres away from the router with those of obstacles. So it's quite a long and hard way.

It just has been a long long day and I would like to rest a bit. I got some pretty pictures of course. :)

Pavilion

Here is the latest shopping complex in KL, The Pavilion. This is currently on the old land of BBGS. Oh well.

The entrance. I think it's too over-exposed.

Deepavali time. :)

And the stupid doughnuts I waited for 25 minutes.

I believe this is much nicer than KLCC. So, hmmmmmmm, my new hangout place. :P
