America Baby!!!

Tadda. This is my secret place I went for 12 days. To America. I know it isn't a big shocker but I found this trip quite exciting. I will be splitting this trip into a few post(not the usual day I, day II etc) and fewer pictures. I don't think I can upload all up since I took about 1000 over pictures.

So, my trip began on Thursday flying to LA. This was only the beginning of a 24 hour flight.

Cathay Pacific lounge.

Gate 37. The gate is ready for the A380.

Doesn't this look the same. But this is from the entrance of HKIA.

Cockpit of a 747. Can't go nearer. Kena halau due to security.

Let's fast forward 24 hours and reaching LA. The Hollywood sign is somewhere there if you can spot it.

Downtown Los Angeles.

After that, it was another 1 hour to Phoenix, Arizona. I think my parents can never fly budget airlines. They drove me crazy with the system and such. Anyway, Arizona is just a desert. And basically, there's nothing. Just more sand and more sand. Lol. But it was a nice, relaxing resorty place to be. Loads of shopping. The purpose of the trip was to go to see my eldest sister.

Well, it would be the touch of death.

I think about day 3, we headed off to the Grand Canyon(which will be another post). The scenery was just amazing was loads of land. The size of Phoenix is about 1200 square miles. That's about twice the size of Singapore. Kakakakakakaka.

Desert of Arizona.

And surprisingly, loads of bushes.

Sodena, a small cowboy town.

Forest in Sodena.

Just Tired

I should have been able to post something up by now about my trip but aiya, got so many things to do now. First of all, I have to recover as fast as possible since I'm going to have an interview tomorrow. SHIT!!! Tomorrow. Damn scary la. Fingers cross on that.

But for now, I'm just tired. I need to recover as much as possible from the 16 hour jet-lag. It's a killer!!!

Back Home

I'm back. Good night.

Cheng Chun Miss A Flight

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. A jetsetter like me miss a flight. What has the world come to? Hahahaha. No la. My flight from somewhere got delayed about 1 hour and I miss this one to KL. I totally blame for the stuff LAX airport. It is the dumbest, stupidest, most unreliable airport there is up-to-date. And I thought Heathrow was bad.

So, I'm stuck in HKIA for another 3 hours till the next one. Better than nothing I suppose. Time for me to sniff around for more food. I dunno why this time around I have been asking for so much food and drinks.

Monday, 28 January 2008

Bye Bye Country!!!

Well, I'm in airport and resting from the terrible delay. Luckily, we got a flight earlier. Wished I could write more now but I feel quite tired. Time for my lobster bisque here. Hehehe. Ciaos!!!

Hello Hello

After I think nearly one week without the internet, I'm almost feel I have no more attachment to the real world. Hahahahaha. Mostly, you all will be like yea right. Anyhow, I can't really say much where I really am now as I don't want to spoil any surprises yet.

Just a short note, I have like used up all my memory for my camera. Aihhhhhhhhhhh. Stress now trying to find another source of memory. I need a big card la. :(

But I'm off to my next destination soon so I better get going.

p/s: Oh my goodness. Heath Ledger died. Aiyaaaaaaaa. Sometimes it's just stupid when you hear it's just overdose. Here is the news from the BBC.

Anyway, I think I better head off to my gate. This airport is just too big!!! It takes 35 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Gsssssssssh.

Day 12 Offline

Okay dokie. I'm off for 12 days now. You all better take care and have fun of course. Don't stress. Makan banyak-banyak and we all okay. Hahaha. Will reveal my location soon enough. :)

Man Shoots Brother-in-law in the Crotch

How come Malaysia has so many interesting stories one. Hahahahahahaha.

From The Star.

KOTA KINABALU: Police arrested a man after he shot his brother-in-law in the crotch thinking he was a wild boar during a hunting misadventure in Sabah’s northern Kota Marudu district.

Kota Marudu district police chief Deputy Supt Mohd Isa Yusof said Jimmy Lansaluang, 38, suffered gunshot injuries to his crotch area and inner thighs in the incident that occurred at a forest area in Melangkap Darat at about 3.30pm Tuesday.

He said Lansaluang's condition was reported to be stable but he was transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital here for further treatment after his 32-year-old brother-in-law rushed him to the district hospital immediately after the shooting.

Isa said that the suspect, who surrendered to police, told them that he was hunting with a bakakuk (homemade shotgun) when he thought he saw a wild boar foraging in the forest area.

“The suspect only realised that it was his brother-in-law when he heard human shrieks,” Isa said, adding that Lansaluang had gone to the forest to gather rattan.

However, police are still looking for the bakakuk that is believed to have been buried in the forest area by the suspect before he surrendered himself.

Ready?

Well, am I ready to go somewhere? Of course. As Charlotte always said, I'm a jet setter. Well, this time I will be going for 10-11 days. And I hope it's going to be a good trip. I better get packing too. Nanti kena marah from parents. :P

Slimming Down

Slimming down can be quite hard but I shall try my very best to lose about 2 kgs in 3 days? Can it be done? Let's see. :) Also I think I keep losing weight when I go over to the UK and Norway.

Streamyx Is Getting Bad

Actually it's getting worse. The speed has been very appalling and I want to do my job applications, it's just a nightmare!!! Aihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So much for Malaysia Boleh!!!

Pressure Man

Talking about high blood pressure with your heart racing up to 160 pulses a minute. I just dunno. I just snapped. I was just screaming on top of my voice like a mad person. Serious. With F**K and many more, the house just echoed with it. I think my neighbours might think I might have a big fight with someone.

Thank goodness that no one was in the house. I guess it was the heat in the house, the game I was playing and the damn mosquito who bit me. I swear this to you that I will be joining the Anti-Mosquito Society and kill every damn one there are.

Well, for sure I'm much cooler and my gundam model fixing certainly did that. Concentrating on what needs to be done, sand papering the rough edges and putting them together.

Thanks to Sping for giving me some space then. :)

Melaka Day 2

So day 2 obviously started more with food. We were expecting Vicki from Singapore to come up and we headed for Chicken Rice Ball again. Yay!!! Well, I wanted to meet Vicki's boyfriend, Augustine but he had to leave early back for Australia.

Your typical Baba Nyonya house with a garden or open space in the middle of the house.

Chicken rice ball. So niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

So after lunch, we walked around for sightseeing. I can tell you I was on the verge of melting. I didn't know Melaka could be a furnace!!! I was a tour guide for Vicki and explaining the history of Melaka since the Portuguese and Dutch and British and how we gained independence. Oh man, I didn't know I still remember so much history since it was like 6 years ago.

Sungai Melaka. Clean already hor.

Windmill. Hmmmmmmm. I suppose it's for the Dutch then.

Melaka clock tower I think. Hehehe.

The first church in Melaka.

Chendol!!! My favourite. :)

The famous Famosa Wall. Like that only ah.

And this was dinner of course, Ikan Bakar!!! Though I have to say, the restaurant was located somewhere really somewhere la. :P

Palm trees. Though there was a monkey fight too.

Hooi Ling and I. She looks like Shu Chi eh.

Fisherman baliking from work.

Fish fish. But there were more before we started our feast. :)

The shells seafood.

Ikan bakar. Yum yum. So much food I tell you.

And back again to Jonker Street for the night-seeing.

The four of us. Me, Shea Maine, Hooi Ling and Vicki.

Karaoking man. Hokkien song with loads of audience too.

And last night having drinks.

Melaka is still quite a good place to eat. I think I will go down again and eat eat eat more.

Destination: Melaka, Malaysia

The historical city of Malacca. Let's begin at 1399 or 1401 when Parameswara saw his hunting dogs was kicked by a kancil.

WAIT A MINUTE HERE.

That's a bit over the top with history there eh. I think I will make everyone run away from my blog so I will jump into the more exciting part of my trip. Well, I wouldn't say it was the bomb but hell yea, it was great for food. I think I put on some weight. Not going to tell how much but yea. :P

So my first day begun me taking the bus from Puduraya. I nearly choked to death in that place with all the exhaust coming from the station. However, the only best thing about this place is that it is the most punctual place in KL. All buses have to leave promptly and on time because there are other buses behind them.

My bus.

After 2 hours in the bus where there was an annoying lady cat-napping and keep banging me. I also wanted to rest but then I get this suddenly heavy head bouncing on me. It gives quite a shock.

I had Chicken Rice Ball for lunch in Jonkers and then dinner was my highlight of the day.

SATAY CELUP!!!

I dunno why I love it but seriously, I can just eat and eat. It's just too good.

The restaurant we went. Can anyone recognise this place?

Before we ate.

Satay celup is the best thing in the world.

The aftermath!!! Ate about 28 sticks. :P

After that, we headed off to Jonkers Walk to really jalan since I was like an elephant. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the Council for livening the area with red lights on the old Chinese houses. It will certainly be bringing a lot of tourist.

Iguana wor. Life one.

Jonker Street at night. Very nice. Well done MPM.

Line dancing moms. :P

Pasar Malam in action.

So yea, we had a good time for now. :P

I'm Back

Ya lor. Back and already so many bad things happen already. :(

There will be an apartment in front of mine and I just failed an attack. Aihhhhhhhh. Dah la traffic in KL was shit today.

Food Oh Food!!!

Oh my. I think I just put on another 1 kg being here for 1 day. Eeeeekkkksssss. But what to do. Food here is so good and plentiful. Oh well, talk to you guys later. My food is calling me. Muahahaha. Bye bye!

Off To Melaka

Don't miss me too much. I'm just going out for sometime. Just for about 3 days to have an eating galore. I know I will not try to stuff myself too much. :)

First Week of 2008

Okay. The first week of the year 2008 and look at the numbers for day number 2. I would have never guessed that it would ever reached that high.

118 hits and 68 entries. So high and nice. And this is not self-made. :P

Look at the red dots too. So many.

Okay la. The post on that day was the Minister DVD Sex Scandal. Lol. So much for that huh.

Old Chelagi House

Now, it was driving through memory lane. We had dinner in Decanters near Setiabakti. After a fast and simple dinner, we headed off to pump some petrol into the car. As my mom took the wrong turn back to Mont Kiara, we headed up to Damansara Heights where I used to live. As usual, the slopes were steep and dark.

Anyhow, we went back to Jalan Chelagi and found some familiar houses and new ones with full renovations and such. Our old house which was sold was to be under massive renovation which they haven't started yet. The question why? Well, it's hard for me to say here because it's quite a sensitive issue with a MURDER case. Yes, MURDER!!! Talking about being lucky that the house was fully paid before this issue was turned into a nationwide hysteria.

Oh well, bye bye you big, blue house.

Indian Thursday

Wow. So Indian today. Overdose of Indian food for lunch. But I like it. Banana leaf with sotong curry, chicken rendang, friend fish and more fried sotong. All so yummy. Though the only thing is that the rice makes you really sleepy. That's because of the extra starch. Basmati is the way. :P

Utopia Sucks

What a title eh! How can a place like utopia sucks. Oh well, if you REALLY know me well, my utopia is a game. Lol. But currently, I'm getting gangbanged and I don't like it at all. I worked my ass off to build a great province and they are taking it all away. S.O.B I tell you.

I will get my revenge some other time.

As for now, where is everyone? Macam so busy busy one. I'm so lonely here in the mornings. :(

Whacking Wednesday

Going around KL isn't easy. We started off late heading to Bangsar Village then to Midvalley then to eat Ngar Po Fan, my new favourite dish. It seems going around these days can be crazy with the traffic at any time of the day.

Hmmmmmm but as for now, I'm pretty bummed out. Just no mood to talk. Aihhhhhhh.

Die Mosquito Die!!!

FINALLY YOU ARE DEAD!!! I have been searching for you the entire 10 days and finally, you died in my hands. After you have been sucking my blood and causing me pain, finally you are dead. I just dont't get it why mosquitoes even come to exist. They give suffering to people, causing thousands of plagues and yet we humans don't take the initiative to eradicate them.

Anyhow, for me they can,

DIE DIE DIE!!!

The Warlords

From a kawaii show to a bloody, chopping of heads and legs off with one sweep of a sword, it certainly was a big contra. I have to say it was as bad as I thought it would have been. Jet Li being the general who was betrayed in the end conquering Nanking. But also in the end, he was assassinated. Well, to cut the story short, everyone dies la. Hahaha.

But I have to say Takeshi was quite good. I know the girls were drooling when he had his clean look i.e. without his moustache. He is quite good looking I have to say. :)

Alvin and the Chipmunks

You can never believe that I watched this show as I was waiting for my mom. Hahahaha. I have to say it was quite a funny and kiddie show. I used to watch it when I was young. Very young. Alvin being the mischievous, Simon the smart one and Theodore as the cute. He memang kawaaaaaaaiiiii. :P

Boinking Tuesday

Melaka here I come. Will that's later on lah. Hahaha. Just got my tickets for Friday till Sunday. Well, I have to admit it that the one of the most punctual places in KL is Pudaraya. When they mean 10 a.m, it will leave at 10 sharp. No later. Afterall, it's the busiest place in KL.

So as for now, just walking and dazing around. I wonder what the others are doing at the moment.

Funny Address

Just a funny thought. We also headed off to Putrajaya to do something for my sister and they had an email. It was like medical_development_division@yahoo.com.

Huh? YAHOO.COM!!! Isn't it suppose to be like gov.my or something like that. Funny la this country!!! LOL!!!

More Flower Power

Well, today was all about flowers again. WEI!!! It's not being gay okay. Gsssssssssh. Chill la people. I went out to get flowers for the office so that it can bring more luck and 'qi' into the work area. Of course with more luck means more money $$$$$$$$. :P

The funny part is that people were just admiring the bouquet we made which by the way cost nearly a bomb due to me selecting an expensive vase. Errrrrrrm, the vase was hand-made so ya. The flowers weren't that cheap either. But it was worth every cent. The praises we got along the way,'Are these real?' or 'Wahhhh, cantik betul!' just made our day. Hehehe.

But there was one particular Mak Cik who was so into the arrangement of the flowers. She gave her opinions and was trying her very best to help out. She was so nice. :)

On the side note, we had to get a microwave oven since ours blew up. Dunno what happened but it just died. I suppose after serving the Chee Family for 12 years, it's time to say good bye. Sayonara.

Oh ya ya, Sarawak Laksa in Alexis is not too bad either. Hehehehe. So quite a nice Monday.

Operation Dinner: Complete

After a weeks of preparation, it is finally over. Everyone had a good time, good laughs and of course returning home with a big fat belly. Nasi lemak was the main course with a small course of nasi dagang, a typical Terengganu dish.

Definitely had loads of dessert too as friends brought over. Well, it was unanimous that the durian pengat was the highlight of the dinner. Hahaha. Well, I personally don't like durian this one was an exception.

Just one word can describe this dinner. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!!! :P

Eh Sunday Already!

Try not to eat salad on empty stomach. It will give you a lot of 'wind' man. Hahahaha. Well, not too much of THAT gas but more like 'wind' la if you know what I mean. Anyway, just a bit bored at the moment just have to wait till the time comes for the big dinner party tonight.

We went to Decanter for breakfast and their pancakes are not too bad. This time it was bananas.

Saturday, 5 January 2008

Running Saturday

So let's see what's going to happen for this weekend. First of all, waking up to go to Taman Tun to have Kuey Teow soup with taugeh, chicken and extra wantan. Sounds a bit a lot right. Oh well, to make up for that I won't have lunch. Can right? Hehehe.

Then we will be heading off to KL to run errands for tomorrow's dinner at home. Hmmmmmm. It's quite a big hosting dinner for 16 people. And I set the table out. So proud of myself. Hehehe.

Friday, 4 January 2008

Just Friday

So fast it's the weekend. My family and I will be hosting a big party so it's going to be a tiring Sunday. We shall see how it will go. Definitely loads of foods and laughter.

Is it true that Krispy Kremes is coming to Malaysia? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Akatsuki Gundam

Tadda my lovely new gundam set. All gold. Yay. So happy. But I still haven't started on my Saviour la. Hmmmmmmmm. I should start soon. My new project.

The box.

And the model I'm suppose to produce.
