Chris Daughtry - Over You

A damn good song! Well, I know it's old but now I'm hooked on it. Just hear the lyrics and you know what I mean. :)

Sorry no proper MTV clip.

Early Thursday

I have been semi busy with work, wah blogging a bit hard. Then work also can't access to this. Lagi teruk.

Anyway, I am finally in the payroll. I got an account in Employees Provident Fund (EPF), I have some savings when I grow old. :D

Work is good and fun. These people are good and funny. :P

Let's Sodomise Everyone

This is getting old. Nothing else but more sodomy here and sodomy there. You know what our dear current government, it's just making you like a fool. Come come let me sodomy everyone. Isssssh!

Not that I want to see the Government topple but I think it's a breath of fresh air to see a new body. Don't keep saying they don't know how to run a Government. They have to start from somewhere. And who knows. They might do a better job.

Anyway, I hope to see a better future in Malaysia ya. Though it's quite hard for me to see Dr Anwar to become our PM. Hmmmmmmmm.

Burning Tuesday

Is it just me or today it was just so hot that you can cook an egg on the roadside. Goodness. It was just like heaven just eating lunch in your office. Sad but true. It was just so hot. I'm sure it was about 35 degrees.

Anyway, I have been emo the entire day. Sigh!

To make things worse, Streamyx died on me.

T_T

But now, after Indian food which makes me even hotter now, the net is up. Yay!

Though I'm very tired now. So, I will sleep soon. :)

Maybank2U

I have to say it's quite good. They have loads of options and services you can do online. Far more supreme than HSBC.

Then only think which I was very annoyed is that I can't open an account anywhere I wish. The only place you can open an account is near your house which is ridiculous. What happens if you change your address other than your IC, let's say from Kelantan and now you are working in KL. So, I have to go back to Kelantan to open la ah? Gsssssssh.

The process is not too bad and the best part is that I get a debit visa card on the spot which is really good compared to HSBC which I had to wait for more than a week and months due to them issuing back to KL!!! A bit DUH! But yes they do.

They have loads of security. Unbelievable. If you want to change your details, you require a TAC number which you obtain from the ATM. Then you use that number to change your details. But this TAC changes every 120 minutes or so, then if you still want to change, you have to get a new TAC number. Not bad.

Thumbs up for Maybank2U! I will be using their services more. Also now, I have to do my EPF. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

The Dark Knight

Oh man. I'm still amazed with the show. I dunno whether I would see it again in the scene. It just gives me the goosebumps. I know I was suppose to blog about this earlier but I have been tired lately.

Anyhow, Heath Ledger should get an Oscar for this performance. It was spot on and gave a different side of the Joker. Though haiya, not worth transforming yourself into the Joker for 2 weeks and then a few months later you ter-die.

A good show to watch. Definitely going to be a big blockbuster in this lifetime. Something different with the action-pack superhero.

Shopping?

Well, now One Utama is quite good. It has free parking on Wednesday. Yay. And what makes it happening now is that all Platinum Maybank cardholders can park in their platinum parking for free during this Mega Sale.

This Mega Sale is not too bad.

But very tiring la working these days. Hmph. I want to retire already. :)

Gerakan puts up road names in Chinese as reminders to state govt

Sorry la. It won't just cut it if you are trying to win the people back. What a load of bull. I mean NOW you want to do it. Give me a break. Please don't come you want to put pressure on the current Government to keep with their word for adding these signs. What hyprocrites! Bollocks!

Well, we just have to see whether this 'stunt' can make Gerakan win the next election.

From The Star. A bit long.

GEORGE TOWN: A group of Gerakan members has put up six road signs in Chinese here to tell the DAP that it has to come up with such road signs since the party is now helming the state.

In what appears to be a tit-for-tat move, former Penang Municipal councillor Dr Thor Teong Ghee, who is a Penang Gerakan Youth committee member, said such road signs were now vital as George Town had been listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

“But now that they are at the helm, I sincerely hope they will keep their word by putting up such road signs,” he said before putting up one of the road signs in Chinese at Beach Street yesterday.

The other roads where the Gerakan members have put up roads signs in Chinese are Burmah Road, Macalister Road, Carnarvon Street, Chulia Street and Jalan C. Y. Choy.

Signing up: Dr Thor (third from right) and other Gerakan members showing the road signs in Chinese during a press conference at Beach Street. The signs were later put up under the original road signs at the six roads.

Interestingly, except for Jalan C.Y. Choy, the road signs are of the Chinese names used by locals to refer to these roads, and take into account trades or features peculiar to the road such as Lam Chan Ah (Muddy Padi Field) for Carnarvon Street which used to be home to padi fields in the early days of Penang.

Beach Street is referred to as Tho Kok Kay (Wholesale Street), Burmah Road (Chia Chooi Lor - Water Carriers Road), Macalister Road (Tiong Lor - Middle Road) and Chulia Street (Gu Kan Tang - Cattle Pen Street).

In June last year, Penang DAP Youth had put up road signs in Chinese at several roads to pressure the previous government to come up with Chinese road signs.

Dr Thor said that the Penang DAP youth wing had said the Chinese road signs could boost tourism, especially in attracting tourists from China.

Penang Municipal Council enforcement officers later took down the signs put up by the DAP members as they were illegally erected.

Dr Thor said although the Gerakan members had also illegally put up their road signs yesterday, he hoped this would serve as a reminder to the present state government. (YA, if DAP did that if you were Government then, as if you would let this happen!)

“At least eight of the DAP members who supported the move for road signs in Chinese to be put up are now state assemblymen and, as such, should aggressively pursue its implementation,” he added.

When contacted, DAP national Socialist Youth (Dapsy) organising secretary Koay Teng Hai, who is also Pulau Tikus assemblyman, said Dapsy was not only proposing road signs in Chinese but in other languages as well.

He said Dapsy was in the midst of drafting a proposal on the matter before submitting it to the municipal council and state Local Government Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow for approval.

“Apart from Chinese, we will also have road signs in Tamil and Jawi, depending on the cultural background of the area,” added Koay.

p/s: Sorry I didn't place any pictures. I just feel like burning it. Not to mention this was on the front page of the Star. *Roll eyes*

EXCITING-NYER!!!

Exciting-nyer. I can't wait. My friend Miss Lim won 2 tickets to see The Dark Knight in the GSC Gold Class. How? She just tried her luck by calling FlyFM to win those tickets and wa laaaa. She was the 5th caller

How lucky can she be and both of us were deciding when to watch.

I suppose problem solved. :D

But what's exciting is that I get to watch it in the Gold Class. Yea yea, no big deal. But hey, when do you get a free ticket worth RM 40. Not to mention we will be watching with the DJs of the Rush Hour, Jules and Prem.

Boink boink!!!

Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon

Well, I just saw it. This movie is based on the 4 great novels of all times in Chinese history, the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms.

Either way, I myself don't know about this book. An OK show. :)

She's The Man

Memang the man. Damn funny and I never get tired of this show. Not really a chick flick but crazy. Just watch it la. :)

Gladiator

WAHHHHHHHHH! I feel so macho now after seeing this show. Definitely a classic. Many many oscars too. :) Well, I'm sure you all watched it la. It was on Astro. And finally, it's this Gladiator.

Happy Birthday Heng Kai

Happy Birthday Kai.

For sure this time, this post isn't going to be overly emo and soapy compared to last years. :)

Just have a great day and I'm sure you are going to relax and chill. One year wiser and no more a teen. Ahhhh. Welcome to the tee's years. Lol!

Young People F**king

Hahaha. The title says it all doesn't it. Nah, it's not porn porn but some scenes la. As if you all haven't seen a non-over obscene sex scene. Compared to Monsters Ball, this was nothing. The shouts from Halle Berry saying, "Make me happy! Make me happy!" still gives me goosebumps and scarred my teenage years when I was young and innocent.

Anyway, the show tells how 5 types of relationships try to have sex. You have the couple, the ex, the best friends, the first date and the roommates. I think it's a bit cacat but it was premiered in the Toronto Film Festival. A bit funny la.

Never Back Down

Gsssssssssssh. It took me 3 days to finish this show. Lol. Anyway, the main actors Sean Farris, goodness, ain't he something. He just looks like Tom Cruise but the taller version. :D

This show is about street or what they call that sport Ultimate Fight Challenge(UFC)?Anyway, they still can't beat Tae Kwon Do. :P

Poor DSAI

Ah. Now, it's DSAI. I'm sure you know what that means. But in our context now, he has gone through hell for the past 10 years. And because of this ridiculous accusation and over-action from every body of the Government, I can foresee what's to come in the next general election.

BN. Just think for a while. What good do you think you can accomplish to get him. You are just down-spiraling your popularity. More like just flushing it.

I guess you just need a slap from the Rakyat.

Malaysia's Anwar Ibrahim arrested

Give this dude a break la. Not yet 2 p.m, you already use brute force. How come you never do it for the smaller case eh? When it comes to Anwar, police is very efficient. Bullocks!

From the BBC.

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has been arrested outside his home, his lawyer has said.

Mr Anwar was stopped by several police officers outside his home and taken to police headquarters.

His lawyer said no reason was given for the arrest, which came shortly before Mr Anwar was due to give a statement to police over sodomy allegations.

The former deputy prime minister denies the allegations, which he says are aimed at ending his political comeback.

Armed police

Mr Anwar has been in a tense stand-off with police since a former male aide accused him of sexual assault two weeks ago.

The 60 year-old opposition leader was due to report to police by 2pm today to be interviewed over the allegations.

But the police have decided not to wait until that deadline. Mr Anwar was stopped outside the gates of his home by armed police wearing balaclavas.

He was taken to police HQ in a large convoy.

His lawyer and his wife have been seen going into the building.

When he was arrested on similar charges 10 years ago, his supporters staged large demonstrations.

A BBC correspondent in Kuala Lumpur, Robin Brant, says it is almost certain that the same thing will happen again now.

Happy Birthday Siew Ping

Happy birthday girl. Eat 22 donuts along the way. You need it to survive in Singapore.

:)

Debat

I just finished watching the debate between Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim against Dato Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek. It was very interesting to say which side was the better side. The title was, "Form the government today, reduce fuel prices tomorrow."

Definitely, the Opposition would say that the Government is corrupted, being wasteful of resources and such. Who doesn't know that. So, this should be an eye-opener for the government to see, "Hey, we have a problem here how we are handling things, we better be more efficient." That's what the people want to hear.

The Government shouldn't be stubborn but listen too. You don't need to take all the ideas and suggestions by the Opposition but just don't shoot them down because it will cut your benefits etc for example.

I also believe that the recent price hike is justified but what isn't justified is how the Government plan to use this extra income i.e. RM 13 billion to help the lower income people. Please don't build a RM 5 billion dollar highway between Sandakan to Tawau(may be it's good I dunno), or build the most crewkerd bridge in the world(i.e. the Second Penang Bridge! Even a damn kid can tell you what's the problem with that design) , another RM 4 billion or build the biggest parliament house in the world and spend another RM 4 billion on that.

Everything is in the billions.

All the rakyat wants is to have a proper Government to use its funds properly which benefits ITS RAKYAT. Nothing else. Is that so hard to ask for.

I just pray hard for my beloved country and its future as now it seems a storm is brewing.

Too Full

Just too full to say anything. Lol. I guess I'm totally blank at the moment.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Just like the title. I heard on Thursday morning at 9.30. I was just happily checking my mails and my game when I heard this, "BOOOOOOOOM!" Well, more like rumbling.

Here I thought, 'Oh, they must be blowing up the hill in Sri Hartamas to make way for the new houses.'

I guess I was wrong.

The apartment in Villa Hijauan Kiara exploded hurting 1 person. Phew, it was certainly a close call.

Wanted

OTT la!!! Where can a bullet curve until you ourself spin while shooting. Ishhhhhh. Just impossible. Lol. Well, I have to say it's not a shabby show but haiya, I better go find other sources to watch the FULL VERSION. I want the vulgarity la. No f**k and being censored is not fun at all. Just like Street Kings. Luckily, I didn't watch it in the cinema.

Angelina was a bit kurus for my liking. Oh well! The hero James McAvoy. Okay la. His eyes are just blue. Scary but beautiful at the same time. :P

Hancock

Not bad la. It's just being Will Smith. I guess I ran out of humour? Got such thing ah? I was never funny to begin with. Ha ha ha. That's as much as this can go.

Yawn. I want to sleep. Nites nites.

Georgetown, Malacca win world heritage status

Something to be proud of. At least we have some world heritages here. Phew. The first 2 are Mulu Caves and Kinabalu Park. Those were obtained in 2000 as natural sites.

To be honest, I would love to visit all UNESCO sites if possible. So far, I have been to quite a few. I know I went to a cemetry in Stockholm, Sweden. You never know, Bukit Cina in Melaka might be in the list soon. :)

From Malaysiakini.

The historic Malaysian trading towns of Georgetown and Malacca are among eight new cultural sites that have been added to Unesco's World Heritage List today.

According to Unesco, both sites have been imbued with a multicultural heritage after more than five centuries of trading and cultural exchanges between East and West.

Georgetown and Malacca joined two other World Heritage Sites in Malaysia which won listing in 2000 - the Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak and the Kinabalu Park in Sabah.

Also included on the coveted list are a controversial Hindu temple in Cambodia and an early agricultural site from Papua New Guinea.

Honoured were the 11th century Preah Vihear temple site, perched on a mountaintop on the Thai-Cambodia border; the cities of the Straits of Malacca - Georgetown and Malacca in Malaysia - and the Kuk Early Agricultural Site in Papua New Guinea, marking the country's first entry on the list.

No ah-caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Aiyak. No ah-caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and no shaking heads around. Lol.

Oh well, there is always next time. :)

Ah-caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Welll, I think it's like that. Hahahahahaha. Let's see the country with the second biggest population has to offer.

Rambo 4

Holy cow. What a show. Luckily, I saw it at home. It's just a musical fountain of blood with the shooting as its music. O_O! What can I expect more from him. Hahaha. Just a bit disappointed that the show was like 1 hours and 15 minutes. That's like super short for him to kill.

Another thing is that he took over a gattling gun and there you have it. He kills everyone with it. Like that one meh. Hahaha.

Don't Test Me Malaysia Airlines!!!

Don't you dare test me Malaysia Airlines. I have been a strong supporter of your airlines so don't you go making my life hard.

Firstly, it was my fault to book the wrong dates and since it was the promotion zero fare thingy., you can't change or cancel or do anything with that ticket. But in my defense is you have a STUPID WEBSITE WHICH CHANGES THE DATE WHEN YOU CHANGE THE MONTH BACK TO THE 1st!!! What kind of codes did you write that resets the date!!! Aih. I know still my fault but STILL!!!

Then now, how dare you go cancel my flight just because I didn't seat on one flight. IT DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO CANCEL MY RETURN FLIGHT JUST BECAUSE I MISS(which I didn't/CANCEL) THE FLIGHT!!! At least call la, if I wanted to return on that flight. I did give you my personal details you know and handphone number.

Sekarang, you tell me I didn't call to say I want to cancel the ticket before my flight? WHAT THE HELL. BOLLOCKS!!! I'm not going to call to cancel just because you want to RESELL MY TICKET WHICH BY THE WAY YOU ALREADY TOOK THE MONEY!!! And you said it can't be cancelled, refund so what's the point of telling!!! Burn the seat la. Save you fuel somemore. What else you want!!!

Bloody hell.

Heh. So luckily I found this out earlier just to book my seats. And still dare to tell me, "Oh Sir, this flight all fully booked." Don't talk cock la. I just book 3 other seats on the same flight don't tell me it's fully booked.

ANOTHER BOLLOCKS TO YOU!!!

Of course he wasn't the only operator so I called again and got a I believe a Chinese guy to sort out my flight. I explained properly saying yes I didn't take the flight but it doesn't mean that I'm not returning. Flying is not the only way to go to that destination so of course I can take another alternatives!!! He was nice(he better be if not I would have ripped his head off!) and said "Please wait, Sir." And after waiting for 7 minutes I got my tickets confirmed on the flight I wanted.

Phew. Nasib I got it back. These seats weren't for me but my guest from France. If not, I'm going to complain to customer service with a long telephone call and write in too since I'm semi-free at the moment.

Breathe in breathe out!!! Hmph!!!

Boo yaaaaaaaa

I also dunno what I'm boo yaaaaaa-ing but it sounds fun. Today, I bought a mosquito repellent plant. Yes I know that's a bit idiotic. LOL

I know it's kinda odd but I'm getting desperate!!! I have already like 8 bites in the last 3 days.

T_T

1 Year

Yay. I hope to get loads of interesting news for 1 year. You know the left wing one. Hahaha. But of course I have to think for myself not believing everything they say. That's what is important. Not to just digest everything what they say.

See I can think. Muahahahahahahahaha.

I hope it works

I'm such an idiot. To trust the online transaction here in Malaysia. I should have waited. Duh!!! I mean how can I be such a dhung dhung!!!

Pray hard!!! Pray hard!!!

Malaysian Passport

Wah... These 2 days I have been just waiting and waiting to make all of them... There goes 5 1/2 hours of my life.

The Malaysian passport. As we all know, making it is a breeze. Serious!

No more waking up at 5 a.m to queue to get the first ticket(which by the way they give out 200 a day and no more after lunch).

No more isi borang which saves you RM1. I know. I sound cheap.

No more queue sampai dunno which lembu comes home.

Lastly, no more to come 3 days later etc.

All you need to do is just give 1 passport picture, your old Malaysian passport, your MyKad, RM300 of course and a photocopy of your MyKad and waaaaaa la. It's done.

The kiosk is an ATM machine. Just follow the instructions and there you have it. Just throw your things in the slot(envelopes are provided) and magic. :)

In 2-3 hours later you have it. They are quite particular on the time too. So, you can't cut queue if you were trying to collect it early. But you can try your girl magic la. Hahaha.

Anyway, this is one of its kind in the world. Malaysia sekarang boleh and there is something to be proud of.

Cheh

Yawn. Sorry, I didn't blog. Dunno why also I forgot to type something at least. I guess I was busy. *cough cough*

Yea right. Well, have fun peeps.
