Greenwich I

This was totally unarranged. Tock wanted to meet up for Krispy Kremes in Harrods. Mana tau this guy wanted to go to Greenwich to see the line. I was quite happy with it though of course, I wasn't at the proper state of mind because I woke up at 11 a.m. WAY too late for me. No idea why I was so tired then.

But before I get on with the events of the day, I didn't bring my camera!!! Among the days which I should have brought, I didn't!!! How I know la I was suppose to go to scenic places. Cis. So please bare with my wordy post today. I will try to get some pictures off from Tock's camera.

Anyway, I met Tock and ahem ahem, Ringo in South Kensington. Of course there was a slight detour to Ben's cookies which I didn't know they weighed the cookie and sell it instead of the normal per price per piece. Then our journey began.

We took the tube and then the DLR. Ahhhhhhhh. Now this is the first time I'm taking this mode of transportation. DLR is an unmanned driving train just like our PUTRA LRT back home in KL. But the ride wasn't as smooth. It was quite rocky at some points like a roller coaster. Anyhow, the journey was quite scenic going through Canary Wharf and such. Was being a 'knowledgeable' Londoner about buildings and history.

After reaching at Cutty Sark, we headed off to the Information Centre to get our bearings right. We had a mini break and lunch for both of them. I had a Ginger Beer and it wasn't that great as I thought it was suppose to be. Anyway, we then headed off to the Royal Observatory where the line is. But before that we had to cross the University of Greenwich and Trinity College of Music. Bananas. It was so pretty and the buildings were great.

Basically, the area was just for jalan-jalan. Big parks and lawns. I can just imagine tonnes of people just sitting on the grass to just relax or sunbath like in Hyde Park. Behind the College it was the Maritime Museum. That was really nice and grand. Once again sorry no pictures. But here's one to see how nice it was.

After walking about 500 meters and listening to Tock's rambling of walking too much and Ringo's japanese translation of English(it was damn funny-tok) and climbed a freaking mountain, we reached the Royal Observatory. This is where they observed time and space resulting to many findings in the astronomy field. There were many things to observe and watch. The GMT line is of course is known for it's 0° 0' 0" longitude. And you can say you can be on the strip of nowhere where time stops. I dunno what I'm talking to be honest. Must be from Ringo!!! Hahaha.

It seems that these days I have been jalan-jalaning a lot. But it's very nice with good company. I definitely had a good time this time.

p/s: I will try to get the photos from Tock if I ever can!!! Of course these pictures I curi from somewhere else. :P

October and November Rules!!!

This month October has a number of people having their birthdays. It's just great to celebrate it in 1 go at times just like my family. However, this keeps me thinking that hmmmm they were conceived during Valentine's Day. The day of love hor. Kakaka. Same with the November babies like me.

This goes the same for Sweden. They have a national drinking day where everyone just get drunk and pooooooof, 9 months later they have a baby. Hahaha.

Happy Birthday Changyong

I'm soooooooooooo sorry for this belated post. His birthday was on the 12th of October. Nearly 1 week. No worries I have sent my wishes already just that I didn't make a post about it. I was just lost with my own stupid life.

Happy Birthday Changyong.

Yes my good old friend. He is ever wise and definitely the brightest in Aeronautics. He certainly taught me to be more true to myself and always always ask if I don't know anything at anytime. He is a fearless general who will conquer the world. He is just one of those special Singaporeans. He never thinks for himself but always give more to his friends.

The first time I knew Changyong was in the Garden's BBQ on Fresher's week. I definitely remember Nicole introducing me to this tiny boy in his big big jacket. Not knowing that this would be a great start of a true friendship. Years after years we endured the pain Aero could throw at us, we persevered. I wouldn't have pass all my years without him.

From his geekyness to his charming insane grin he has, he certainly is an all rounder in every aspect of life. Why am I not surprise if he's the top in Singapore in everything or may be a General in the military. I still remember you disturbing me in lectures when you lost your concentration and just destroy my notes. Vice versa. Talking about maturity there. Oh well, I still love you. Hahaha.

Well, all I can say that I'm proud to have a great friend like you and I will definitely NOT miss the graduation in the Singapore. It's a big hurdle to jump now getting my family to say yes but I think I can. I will not miss this for anything other than my sister is quite mad that I'm not going to send her off back to London.

Here are some good memories.

Changyong and I in Wimbledon.

The Maniacs of Aeronautics. This was taken after a CFD class!!!

I think this was the last days of lectures. Materials to be exact.

I love this picture. The last day before I headed off to Norway for my project. I really miss you all.

Something to be happy with

At least this gadget is keeping me slightly happy. This is my new headphones. Sennheiser CX 300. The sound is just great. My iPod headphones koyak already. May be I'm too rough. :)

It also came with my father book on religion. I don't think I want to mention what the title of the books are as I think it will cost a nuclear war between religions but the books he get from here are just out of the world. Really. Don't think I would want to go to the bookshop and ask for those titles. People would give me the death stare.

Cacat Thursday

I dunno whether it's a bad start of the day but I'm not really a happy bunny. Waking up to 9 emails scolding and telling me what to do isn't exactly great. First of all, I got a morning call at 9.20 a.m from the Concierge with 3 buzzes!!! I know I had a few parcels on the way but hello la!!! Call in the evening when people are awake!!! Damn noisy. Grrrrrrrrr.

Then kena a list of things from sister. Blah. Kena this and that. Helping out a bit also kena marah. Fair enough that I semi-destroyed the mini oven we had because some plastic melted on it. I really didn't see it and the tupperware cover just melted. Isssssssssssssh.

Anyhow, I have calmed down a bit and since the weather is beautiful I can't ask for more. I really hope that the weather holds up till next week which my guts tells me it's going to rain then.

I'm still torn since yesterday. Realising that I might be going back for good. Particularly a certain thing which really means to me.

Good Ol' Times

Another successful meet up with the Concordians. I met up with the English dude, Brian and the medic, Khoon Li. It is always great to meet up with them and I certainly enjoy my time. It was in Four Seasons and oh yea, Heng Kai joined us too. I just like yum cha-ing.

But of course before the mini gathering, I was in Imperial to make my statement of attendance and such. They haven't been exactly very efficient the past weeks. Either way, yes I know I'm a maniac going to Imperial every week just for the sake of it. But this would be like my last last time I would be in Imperial other than graduation.

The worst part is that it leaves me with so much emotions and feelings behind. I know it's time to move on, get a life and see the future as mine isn't exactly that certain. But it's just that there are certain people who I would definitely miss. Not being with them is like an emptiness or void in me. They just really mean a lot to me.

So jiwang huh? I know. Time for the songs.

Bright Wednesday

Too much sunny now compared to yesterday. This time need sun glasses. But I don't have one. :( I really hope that the weather stays like this till next week.

Tuesday Bore

Another boring day. All I can say is that I went to dry clean my tie. Hahahaha. Getting ready for my graduation. That's once in a life time.

But now, everything seems to be so hazy and blur at the moment. I need a big slap or knock into my brain and turn me upside down. We shall see.

Monday Oh Monday

Well, I got some sleep today but at odd hours of course. My parents left for Ireland. Why did I miss this opportunity to miss this trip which I don't normally do. I just feel a bit guilty with stuff, many stuff to be honest. So, I don't think I should be enjoying myself too much.

On the other hand, I get to catch up with all my series. All of them are so cool especially Gundam 00. It's just damn cool.

Just a normal slow Monday.
