HMCS Protecteur

For the first time ever, I set foot on an operational warship. It's more of a supply ship but hell yea man. The other time I set foot onover a ship was in Pearl Harbour! Hahaha. Well, I suppose that's not counted.

Anyway, we got invited to go on the HMCS Protecteur. This ship belongs to the Canadians. And let me say that the Canadians are just damn nice. :) I love their seafood and of course their weather. The extreme cold! Muahahaha.

In all her mighty. And ah, my new batik shirt too. Nice eh? :P

Sorry I can't really post what I saw in the ship. Nanti they find me and kill me man. So this shall suffice for now. :)

Enjoy!

Harry Connick Jr. Concert in KL

Now, I tell you. I had no idea who this guy was. Though he looked every familiar. Then I remembered he acted in Will and Grace as Dr Leo and also the sidekick of Will Smith in Independence Day.

Anyway, I didn't know he was a singer and pianist. Damn. He is good. Hahaha. His songs are mainly jazz and mainly where he is from, New Orleans. His band was good. Not to mention, it was held in none else than the Petronas Philharmonic Hall. I can't really show how it looks like because they said no pictures.

But at least at the end of the show, I can get this picture. :)

Clash of Times

Ah ha. This is another sport entry for me to write and it's on tennis again. Clash of Times as they promoted it. Pete Sampras vs Roger Federer. Very rare they play like this. So, I bought the tickets when I was in London and the seats given to us were not too bad though I was slightly disappointed that I didn't get to choose the seats. Going to write in to complain about it.

Anyway, the match was good and of course Federer, the world champion won. The game was 7-6, 7-6 which was better than the previous match in Shanghai. The crowd were certainly noisy before, during and after each game and set. Not to mention crying babies. If you know me, I would have killed all of them. Hehehe.

However, I felt that I didn't have the same adrenaline like in Wimbeldon. This was just an exhibition game afterall where the players didn't seem to go all out. I know Sampras did his best but oh well. Old already kua. :)

Overall, a good outing with the family before everyone starts making their long journey back to USA and UK.

Mahatir Lokman. He has slimmed down man. :P

Drummers. Hmmmmmmmm. Not too bad actually.

Jacklyn Victor gave a little song or two.
