The Brink of Law

So chi kek one leh. This is super drama to the end. Loads of deceit, manipulation and tonnes of self-destruction. But how la. The main characters either die, go crazy or die even more. Beats me. I watched this series a bit late because I'm always fighting with my mom for the TV. But I have to say, I guess it was an okay okay series. :)
The leng chai die la. Hai ya. How can like that one. Aihhhhhhhhh. So sad. Hahaha.
The theme song is now in my head. :)

Spoilers Do Suck
Damn. Couldn't wait for this series to finish. It's just too much drama. Now, I just hate the ending. Boo hoo.
T_T
I will still see it though if I don't fight with my parents for the TV. :P

Hong Kong Beauties
Of course after watching a lot of Chinese dramas, you can't stop noticing these actors and actresses. They are drop dead gorgeous, pretty, handsome, yau yeng and all you can describe about beauty la. For now, we go Asian. Let's take for example.
Sonija Kwok
Famous actress and doesn't she look pretty and beautiful!!! Well of course she is also Miss Hong Kong. As you most know that she acts for a lot of TVB series.

In A Step into the Past with Louis Koo but her dressing made her like a goddess. No question about that.

Charmaine Sheh
She also Miss Hong Kong winner. Not really a beautiful as Sonija Kwok but I think it's one of the best Hong Kong actresses. Her hair has to do a lot with her look. I prefer her to have long hair. :P

And for the guys.
Kevin Cheng
He now is a different case. He was born in the States. You know where I'm getting at now eh? How come people born abroad so good looking one. Hahaha. Sounds gay but serious la!!! Give me the chills only. Not yau yeng and charming meh? His smile can melt anything away.

Hawick Lau
Just hate it when they have weird weird English names. Why not call yourself banana eh? :D
But nevermind about that. He is different than the other actors because he has the cute boy and goody two shoes face. Lol. Every thing I read about him is all about cute, cute, cute and nothing else. Oh well. :) Oh yea did I forget where he is from? From CANADA!!!

So you can see where I'm getting at where you are born, you will get gorgeous looking people. Muahahahaha. Just kidding. :P Anyway, of course there are more beautiful people out there. The Koreans. Goodness. Can't stop hearing it from my crazy girl friend's about Korean dramas.

Series' Are Back!!!
Just a quick note. All series' are back online now. After 3-4 months of hiatus' and stupid writers strike at least some are getting along just fine.
Talking about series' at least one series doesn't need writers to write them. You guessed it. :)
American Idol.

And oh oh. Our favourite foul-mouthed chef, Gordon Ramsey. His show Hell's Kitchen.

My Lovely Sam Soon
Gsssssssssssh. Good Korean series. So happy and drama too. Korean seems to be a rough language when they start shouting but all in all very nice. Go watch it!!! All about baking, food and most of all, LOVE. What's a drama without love eh. ;)
The main 4 characters are:-
Sam Soon - She is so funny!!! Can't believe she is exactly like my sister. Lol.
Hyun/Sam-shik - Wahhhhhhhh. He is gorgeous. Have to say, I love his hair with/without gel. Even under rain, it looks so good. Gssssssssssh. Hahaha.
Hee-jin - Like a goddess. A bit skinny but utterly pretty. It can't be compared.
Henry - That one dunno what to say. Some knight in white shining armour. Shine so bright until I'm blind. So just imagine how good looking he is lol.

Brothers and Sisters
I just love this Walker family. I know I made a previous post about this but man. Watching this series cracks me up. They are just crazy. I can't imagine having another 2 older siblings making it 5 of us. I know some of you have 5 siblings but how can that work out. It's just insane!!!
So, let's see who is who.
Nora Walker(Sally Fields) - The head of the family after William Walker(father of the family) passed away due to a heart attack. However, he left the family with a some surprises. Anyway, Nora is one neurotic yet respectable figure of the family. Her role in this series gives a sense of motherness and homeliness.

Anyway, Nora is one neurotic yet respectable figure of the family. Her role in this series gives a sense of motherness and homeliness.
Sarah Walker(Rachel Griffiths) - Being the eldest in the family, it isn't easy. She is the President of the plantation company, Ojai built by her late father and endured a lot of mishaps within the company after her father's passing. She is this super mom with 2 children unfortunately, her marriage isn't that stable and will have to see more what will happen.
Kitty Walker(Calista Flockhart) - Number 2 in the family. Now, everyone just see Calista as Ally McBeal. But I think she has certainly done well here. Being the Republican in the family working in politics. She is very funny and most of the time causes trouble in her relationship. But we do have our good and bad moments. She is now engaged with her boss, the Senator of California.
Tommy Walker(Balthazar Getty) - The dangerous one. Hahaha. Just kidding. The middle child. The middle children syndrome does exist and they can be very dangerous like my sister. Anyway, he plays as the eldest brother here and he definitely feels the most unloved in his family. Just on the side note in reality, who calls a son Balthazar. I thought it's a demon's name.
Kevin Walker(Matthew Rhys) - The gay son. Well, he might be gay but he is definitely funny. I mean really funny. Always making things revolve around him, he definitely has been in and out many relationship disputes. He has now a gay minister boyfriend who is apparently going to MALAYSIA(Yes Malaysia!!!) for a mission(Didn't know Malaysia was THAT poor!!!).
Justin Walker(Dave Annable) - The youngest among them. Yay!!! He is so like me. The nice and sweet one. We can't really voice out too much but just being the nice one saying yes yes and give tonnes of nods to agree with everyone. Go bro!!!Anyway, he enlisted in the army and was sent to Afghanistan. Upon his return home, he endured an ordeal that changed his life forever. However, he was not spared from the war in Iraq. He was deployed back to Iraq in summer and that's when the series ended. So, now in season 2, we are here to see what will happen to him and to the Walkers.
Rebecca Harper(Emily VanCamp) - Ah ha. This is the mishap that William Walker had. He had another daughter with another woman. So, she is the new addition to the Walkers and it caused an uproar. She seems to be now more visible in the family so we shall see how this goes.
Holly Harper(Patricia Wettig) - Well, if Rebecca was the step daughter then she is the mistress. She had a hard time finding her way through the family however, William gave her some shares to Ojai and she is now one of the directors of the company. She now with Tommy opened a vineyard starting a wine business together.
Saul Holden(Ron Rifkin) - Older brother to Nora Walker is certain the most sane person in the family. He certainly has a great figure to the family and without a doubt a good older brother. However, he has a deep relation with Holly and now with another man. Aiya. So deep and complicated. Have to wait and see it.
Julia Walker(Sarah Jane Morris) - Wife of Tommy Walker and mother to twins. However, the younger twin died due to immature birth. She has been torn apart and is taking a lot of time to recover. I suppose losing baby can takes its toll on anyone who really want children.and
Robert McCallister(Rob Lowe) - The Senator of California and now engaged to Kitty. He has been a guest host in Season 1 and now is playing a more important role now. He is now running for Presidency and with Kitty on his side, I'm sure he will win it.Wednesday, 26 September 2007
New Season Banger
I leave for 36 hours and boom!!! 4 episodes of my favourite shows are out. We first have Prison Break and Heroes on Monday. Wahhhhhhhhhh. Too chi kek man now.
- Spoilers Ahead -
Prison Break - Michael now is in a new prison in Panama. That's not the problem because he was suppose to be out under American jurisdiction. But, some evil, powerful General which planned for Michael to be in that specifically is to want him to break out of that prison rescuing another American in solitary confinement. So, that's the twist. Who is this jailed person.
Heroes - So many things has happened. We have Hiro back in 1671. His hero is actually an English. Goodness. Then, we have a few of them moving on with their lives. But the most interesting one was Peter is now in Ireland chaining in a container and he has the genetic symbol around his neck. At least he has short hair not that gay looking fringe he had.
NCIS - What a shocker!!! Tony dies at the first half of the show. I nearly pengsan. But oh well, they are back continuing from the previous episode where Tony was following La Grenouille a.k.a 'The Frog'. I hope the series continues and follow up with these powerful arm dealers.
Bones - Well, I have no idea why Zack was sent to Iraq for war but I guess I have to watch old Season 2 to find out. Anyway, it is still quite funny with Agent Booth and Bones bickering and all the sarcasm they leashed out at each other. Just good fun.

Prison Break
I'm done. Season 2 has been quite entertaining. Not as cheem as the first season. It could be because that it was the ingenious plan of getting out of the jail. But this season basically they are running around the country evading all the authorities.
All my girl friends were saying Michael Schofield played by Wentworth Miller is just sexy. Hahaha. Well I think he has the softer feature than most men. What do you expect when you have African-American, Jamaican, English, German, Cherokee, Jewish, Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese blood in you. And I thought we Malaysians can be rojak but this is really rojak.
I think this is still a good series and I'm ready to watch Season 3 which was out yesterday.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Laugh all you might but I stand by this show!!! Hahaha. Seriously. This series can't be more scandalous. For over 20 years, this series has been running and I don't think it is going to end soon. Till today, I'm still liking every single bit of it though the family is just crazy. Just image having a brother who is married to your mothers brother's ex-wife sister. Hahaha.
Well, there are a few lessons I learnt from this series. Proper dining and style they have. I have to admit their dress, suits, laundrette(not being ham sap here) and also their actors and actresses are just gorgeous people. And the houses. Drool!
Although I still remember back in KL the first saw it, my blood pressure shot up because Brooke(the main leading actress i.e. slut) refuse to say I love you. It took 3 episodes to make her confess and my family were like 'Chill! Chill!'
All in all, it never fails to entertain me. And I'm catching it up again since I'm quite bored now.

Will & Grace
After 8 series, I think it's still very funny. It's quite sad how it ended(to be honest I wasn't happy with the ending) but it had to end. Overall, all actors and actresses played their roles really well. I added a synopsis. This show will never be aired in Malaysia.
Will & Grace is a sitcom based around two best friends, Will is a gay lawyer and Grace is a straight interior designer. They both live in New York along with Will best friend and Jack and Grace's rich secretary Karen. The Emmy Award-winning comedy series has remained one of television's highest-rated and most upscale comedies throughout its network run.

Plus, in 2005 "Will & Grace" was tied as one of the most-nominated series and also scored its highest number of Emmy nominations in a single year with 15. MacGyver
My goodness. I'm addicted to this show when I was really young. Damn, it hurts when I keep saying when I was young(yea yea, Heng Kai and Siew Ping, you all younger la!!! So, don't rub it in)
Played by Richard Dean Anderson, MacGyver uses all the science to get away from trouble. Actually, all of that we learned itin school. Though I'm just a bit amazed and in awe with all the application he can do within a few mintues and the pressure. Oh well, one of my memories of my childhood.

Brothers and Sisters

I got hooked on with Brothers and Sisters recently. My sister initially watched it in the States where I also got sick and to my amazement, it was really funny. It reminds me the complication of having my crazy family. Of course I do love them very much and hey, without this chaotic things life won't be colourful without dramas and crisis.
Here's a good quote about family,
Here's a good quote about family,
Family. There is nothing more important. They are the ones who shows up when we are in trouble. They are the ones to push us to succeed. The ones who help keep our secrets.Sorry, that this series will not make it in Malaysian TV because one of the sons is gay. Oh well, wished my Mom could watch this series.

American Idol Finale
I have to say that it was quite a show. Lots of singing and Jordin definitely deserved to win. 'This is My Now' was beautifully performed by her. Unfortunately for Blake, it wasn't fair. He wasn't in his element or comfort zone as Paula would say. But this IS a singing competition. You have to be the best of the best.
Though, I don't know why that this time they didn't have a choir to sing with the final 2. Hmmmmm.
It just makes me wonder whether Malaysia will ever produce a singer like that. We do have Jaclyn Victor but I think our standard is still not up there yet. Our second winner, don't need to say lah ah. :P

Series'
It's nearly the end of May. Time for summer. This means that most series' are ending too. And what a perfect time to end everything when I'm leaving Norway in 2 1/2 weeks time.
My first series which ended was Numb3rs. And wow, what an amazing finale. I got to admit it was one hell of an ending. The twist. And my favourite FBI agent. Aihhhhhhh. How could he! Oh well, the maths is still cool.
Desperate Housewives. Since the beginning of that series, I refused to watch it because of it's name. Desperate. I told myself it must just be all scandals only. Bluek! But then I gave it a chance and Season 1 was certain very good. However, it kinda got a bit side-tracked and it was plain. But this new Season's ending was quite a good one except for the last 30 seconds.
Another random series I just saw online was Heroes. Who would ever thought that it was be an amazing series. I mean the first 2 episodes were a bit slow but it picked up. However, it was more of a roller-coaster ride as some episodes were super great then it went down compared to Prison Break. More like a sine wave I would say. :)
Agent Jethro Gibbs. What a name. But NCIS is certainly entertaining. The finale is going to be a bang I think with what is about to happen. I hope it is not going to be a disappointment. With all the series' ending, I really want to see something with a bang.
Tick Tock Tick Tock. Ah ha. You guessed it. 24. Now, that series is going to end next week but then it was quite good this Season. So far, I think 24 has been quite constant with its quality. Mr Bauer is the ever invincible CTU agent. But at times too much drama. I can't stand it! Not to mention, they never go to the toilet ever!
American Idol Finals. It is now between Jordin and Blake. Hmmmmmmm. I wonder who will win. I like Jordin better but Blake is original. Who knows. Dolittle got kicked out. Quite like her.
Prison Break. This time it wasn't as great as the first season where you just keep getting off your seat wanting to know more. I know that finished in April but I kinda stopped at episode 8 for some odd reason. I will continue it later may be when I'm back in London.
