Trouble Thursday

Fuyoooooooh. Pavilion damn syiok man. I think it's better than KLCC. May be the shops aren't that great yet but I bet it will come there soon enough. So, here's the recap of my day.

First, I headed off to Pavilion to meet up with Shea Maine who came down with her mom for a fashion show. Due to a misunderstanding with the new house locking system, I left the main door unlocked because all of the keys which I grabbed was unable to lock. I suppose that was a recipe for disaster.

Leaving the house insecure(of course I had a big grill. I'm not crazy to leave the entire house unguarded), I happily headed off to the new shopping complex. I was a bit early so, I decided to try to find my gundam in Berjaya Times Square. Unfortunately, it was tutup and I did go back again to find out it ran out of stock. So depressing. :(

Anyway, I got to say Pavilion - on the old ground of the famous Bukit Bintang Girl School, stood up and high in one of the busiest places in the Golden Triangle. Basically, it's just big and big. I think there are future developments there for a hotel.

What else can you do in a shopping complex. Jalan la. But before that had to makan of course. So, we wandered and found Dragon-i for Shanghai dumplings. And then I got every dumpling to squirt at me. Even the dry ones. Aihhhhhhhhhhhhh. Nevermind. I say tahan the pain.

Well, shopping there was quite fun. From Billabong to Versace, it was nice. Then I wanted to check out my polo-sweet shaped speaker then bang. It is like RM559. So cheap. Cheaper than all the high streets I have been. I was so tempted to buy it but I ordered mine on Monday. Cis!!!

Looks cool right. I hope it does work properly. :P

Then all hell broke lose. My mom found out that the door wasn't locked and she had to drive back from somewhere to just lock the house. Yes, yes. It was my fault but where I live it should be fine. Anyway, heard tonnes of screaming and yelling. To make things worse, my new number or phone's connection was so bad that I couldn't receive any calls but could make them. I'm quite annoyed and will be going to Digi to make a complaint!!!!

The only good thing for today was buying J.Co doughnuts. I can't believe that I bought 1/2 dozen doughnuts but waited for 20 minutes for it!!! Apparently, it was like Krispy Kremes. I haven't tasted it so since I was there better get a peace offering for my parents.

The day ended when my dad picked me up from KL Sentral when he thought it was KLCC. Hmmmmmmmmm. Luckily, he didn't go there if not tragedy number 2 would happen. As for now, I think we are going out to taste some wine. Taking like a pro like that huh. :P

Joke from Singapore Airlines

Hahahahaha. You gotta be kidding me. I suppose they say having sex in the air is great but this is to the extreme now. Talking about glitches in having beds in airplanes. Oh well, have fun reading. From the BBC.

Singapore Airlines has taken the unusual step of publicly asking passengers on its new Airbus A380 plane not to engage in any sexual activities.

The potential problem has arisen because the first class area of its giant superjumbo contains 12 private suites complete with double beds.

Singapore, which is the first airline to start flying the A380, said the suites were not sound-proofed.

It said it did not want anyone to offend other travellers or crew.

The plane has 12 private first class suites.

Singapore added that while the suites were private, they were also not completely sealed.

'Observing standards'

"All we ask of customers, wherever they are on our aircraft, is to observe standards that don't cause offence to other customers and crew," the airline said in a statement.

"Nothing different applies for our Singapore Airlines Suites customers."

The suite offers privacy but not that much privacy.

Singapore Airlines took delivery of its first A380 earlier this month, with the first services between Singapore and Sydney starting on 25 October.

It is now set to take delivery of a further five A380s in 2008, out of its order of 19.

Blog Update

Well, in order to post on the correct day and dates, I have changed my settings so that my post will be 8 hours ahead of GMT. Nothing much.

Wednesday For Now

Let's see what I did today. I definitely jalan-jalan in the Curve to find a paper shredder and some red candles. Hmmmmmmmmm. All were out of stock. A bit centre like Ikea too had no stock of red candles.

Then headed for my facial in Ampcorp. Read the previous post for more details.

So balik rumah and meet another new cousin from my father's side. Such a small world. She is going to be a florist for my sister's wedding. So yea. But I have to admit her flower arrangements are the best so far. And gsssssssssh. She looks so young.

And now just came back from Chilis for a little dinner. Had so much now and I feel I'm putting on weight. Eeeeekkksssss. Need to slim down a bit so that I can fit into my suit.

Facial-ah

Today was my first facial ever. Hahahahahahaha. I know that sounded just wrong but oh well, nowadays guys need to groom themselves to be more presentable. You know women can be very particular and such. I don't think most girls would like a pizza-crater guy face(no offense to those but it's not your fault, it's the bacteria or virus which is causing your acne!!!). Do you see Brad Pitt having acne?

Where got spots one?!?!?! See. :P

Anyway, it was quite relaxing just to sit there where they just clean your face and tone it I suppose. However, I didn't know that it was quite long about 2 hours. I really needed to go to the toilet then. Don't think it would be good to be going out of the shop with a big white face and cucumbers on the eyes. Just kidding. No cucumbers of course.

Under-dressed Horror!!!

Never in my life I tell you that I have been under-dressed. I'm usually semi over-dressed for nice occasions but this one, it just caught me off guard. I just wore my normal smart casual shirt. Nothing wrong right wearing for a open house dinner in the Marriott.

Mana tau the Raja of Perlis(the ex-Agong) attended this Raya open house. Not to mention the Chief Minister of Melaka!!! It's just pure embrassment to see everyone wearing batik and I'm the ONLY youth wearing that. Even, the kids were wearing batik.

Aiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhh. I just feel so disappointed and the embarrassment I had to endure during the dinner. I could see eyes looking at me thinking who the hell is this young fool attending this dinner. I can't blame them. :(

Food was not too bad. Loads of food as usual. Buffet style. Satay, curry laksa, assam laksa, popiah, japanese food, ice kacang, cendol, fried chicken, char kuey teow, Caeser salad, lamb chop and desert. I had most of it. Couldn't resist all of them. I haven't eaten those for like a year man.

Anyway, my new mission is to get a batik shirt. And the only place to get my batik is from Terengganu. The airport to be more precise.

p/s: Sorry no pictures. I didn't bring my camera. Damn it. I wished I could get an autograph from the Raja.

Lala Tuesday

For Tuesday. Nothing la. I mean just went out for Litte Penang Cafe in KLCC for curry laksa which was quite bad, lobak and top hats if you know what that is. There that one you put phang kuang into the fried cupcakes. I also tried to find my iPod speakers but unfortunately, it's not in Malaysia yet. So, I guess I will get mine from Amazon and get my sister to bring it back.

Had a friendly call from the Malaccan. Talking about our future which looks bleak. What to do.

So for now, just waiting to go to JW Marriott for Raya Open House again. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love Raya and my Malaysian food. Kakakaka.

Graduation

So, here it is. Well, some pictures are mine but some I curi from others. I hope you all enjoy the pictures as I do so much.

The day started early with the collection of the gowns. I had my tickets(luckily, they arrived after the postal strike) and we headed to the professional photographers for the family pictures. Being in an engineering school, everything was in mass production and fast. It was snap snap snap and I was done. The ceremony started at 11.30 a.m and lasted for 2 hours.

Aerial view.

Bottom view. My parents were sitting on the second tier in a box!!! Even I don't get to sit in it. :(

An undergraduate.

A graduate. The 4-seconds of fame.

After a 2 hour loooooong agonising of not clapping and name-butchering MCs saying most of the Asians name, we adjourned for the reception in the Queen's Lawn.

But before that, it was for sure to take some pictures outside of Royal Albert Hall. After all, this is the grandest venue you can ever graduate. Some of the pictures are in random orders.

The ever good-looking little brother I have. Never seen you like this before. Just so classy and stylish.

Siew Ping of course. Without a wardrobe dysfunction. Just kidding. Hehehehe.

Sujatra. The other Malaysian in Aero.

Ahhhhhh. The great gay lou. Hahahaha. Omar you rock.

Miss Goo. The crazy Norwegian.

Wan. The ever patient and sensible person I knew in Imperial College.

Tockie Tock!!! Finally, dah graduate!!!

Chien Liq who had a loooooooooooooooooooooong lunch break. Thanks a lot.

Umut. The Turkish. Girls goes crazy over him. And an accent to die for.

The ever sweet and most compassionate girl I know, Anu.

Big teddy bear, Dhruve. Who's your daddy?!?!

Song. Well, she is safe and sound from the fires of LA. :)

After those Royal Albert Hall pictures, I didn't get much because my family headed off to the reception because they were hungry so I was left out. That's just sad but oh well. The finger food served was definitely nice and the champagne was nice.

Siew Ping again.

Now, Wayn.

Oh hail Xue Lieh.

The Chinese group in group. To be hones there is quite a number. Hahaha.

Arjun, the anime freak!!!

You know this is the first picture I have with Charlotte after all these years!!! Ang ang ah, Charlotte Yeow!!!

A very hungry Kai too. Haha.

The cool Zhern Yoong.

And a big gang here. Mostly the third years. Thanks mates.

Alvin, me, Winston and Wesley. Great to see you guys again.

So please comment on the pictures. I hope they are nice and I certainly had a great graduation. Everyone looks handsome, pretty, beautiful, matured and all lah. The best part now is that I'm going for the graduation in Singapore.

Singapore here I come!!!

Last but not least, I would like to say thank you very much to my parents and sister for attending this graduation. Without them, I wouldn't be in Imperial College without their encouragement and guidance throughout. Also thank you to the 2 other who attended the graduation, little bro, Heng Kai and Siew Ping. I couldn't ask for more. Got to give it to Siew Ping for her great job on taking pictures. Thanks to those who were there and not there for giving their support and the list goes on.

Would continue more but it would get too soapy. It's suppose to be a celebration! So, guys good luck in the near future(which you all will and definitely) and will keep in touch.

Mayhem Monday

As usual, Monday is the start to the week. Sluggish and just dragging yer bum from bed to go to work. But this time around, I woke up at 8 a.m due to a weird dream and I headed off with my Mom to get some necessary stuff for my sister's wedding. Me dunno about wedding but it should be fun. It will be held in 2 weeks time. So hope that's fine.

On the other hand, I had a superlicious time eating won ton mee near Chinatown and damnzzzz, it's still good. Had like 1 1/2 plates, an extra bowl of won tons and a plate of char siew with a big cold cup of milo peng. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! And it cost all less than 2 pounds. To be honest, it's a bit pricey for Malaysians standard of living.

Then off we roamed in Chinatown to find an artefact tea cup. Unfortunately, we weren't lucky. Most probably, the cup could be sent to the museum for history purposes. Hahaha. But we didn't go back empty-handed. We got some massive flower i.e. bird of paradise and crab claws for the house.

Bird of paradise.

Seriously, don't mess with this flowers. They are as tall as me and hard as a rock. But with the elegance and beauty in them. These flowers are so puny compared to ours. It was labeled XL. Haha. And the price was cheap too.

Crab-claws.

So, that was about it. Went to Bangsar Shopping Complex to get a glass vase for the humongous flowers.

Of course, a short nap was in order after that and I didn't get much sleep that night.

Super Sunday

Wow, this is fast. On my first day I'm out for a Raya open house and then off to see a concert in Bukit Jalil. Am I a busy bee?

For now, there will be no pictures of anything because I didn't know that this computer doesn't have the card reader and I didn't bring back my cable. So please bear with me.

I will definitely write more but for now, I'm kinda tired and I need a big loooooooong shower since the LRT train had no air-con and the stadium was hot.

All in all, a very good day.
