Hah, London!

As for now, I think London is still the same. The sound of sirens, the people walking fast and not to mention our famous double-decker buses driving like a F1 driver.

Oh well for now, I think I shall eat as much as possible. You know what's coming. Muahahahahaha. Eating anything under the sun. I have my dim sum in Royal China and GBK. What else?

Oh oh, quack quack from Four Seasons. :D

Oh yea talking about food, I have been(touch wood) not down with food poisoning. I have heard 100000001 cases about people having diarrhea that you just don't want to eat anything there. Ishhhhhhh.

Well, you will soon enough know where I have been.

Grey London

How grey can London be?!?!?!?! I mean I missed London a lot but this weather in May is killing me.

Anyway, I guess I'm too bored now because my house now is filled with snores and heavy breathing. Thank GOODNESS, I have a laptop for me to go around the house typing happily without disturbing anyone.

Now, I have loads of errands to run I think. Oh well, if I don't, I shall make some then. :P

Acky Breaky Leg

Sigh! I can't walk at the moment and sitting down is a nightmare. Ache here there ache just like an old man. But I think I sprained my thigh muscles and knee cap area. Though it was worth it.

Will report more.

p/s: Can't believe I woke up so early today at 5.45 a.m.

Too Early To Swear

It's too early to go WTFCCB stuff but it really is. I'm trying to get as much as sleep as I can because I will be running a long day today. And since it is nice and cold(too cold for my liking. Sniff sniff I'm no more a Brit can't stand the cold T_T), I tried to snug in my bed.

Some assholic neighbour had to start nailing things into the direct opposition of my wall shaking the entire wall.

NAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

Now I have a terrible headache now.

Dr M Quits UMNO

Coming back to the real world, apa macam la. Dr M quits UMNO. Goodness. Now, that's a big punch to the stomach for the party. Tsunami everywhere destroying everything in its path.

From the Star and BBC.

ALOR STAR: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and veteran party man Tan Sri Sanusi Junid announced Monday that they are quitting Umno.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced this on Monday at 12.35pm, citing a lack of confidence in the current leadership.

"I am quitting Umno today," he told about 1,000 people, mostly Kedah Umno members, at a talk here on Monday.

"I will write a letter to Umno headquarters to inform that I have quit the party," he said.

He has been critical of his appointed successor Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, blaming the current Umno president for the party's disappointing performance in the 12th general election.

The ruling Barisan Nasional coalition, of which Umno is the largest component party, won the March 8 election with a simple majority, and saw four more states join Kelantan under Opposition rule.

Dr Mahathir urged other party members to quit too, as a way of pressuring Abdullah into vacating his post.

However, he advised those who do quit not to join any opposition party, adding they can all rejoin the party once there is a change in leadership.

Abdullah has so far refused all calls for him to step down, and said he would defend his presidency in the party polls in December.

Sanusi, who is a former Kedah Mentri Besar, also quit the party on Monday.

Ho Ha He!!!

Going bananas I tell you. Rushing up and down like a mad man everywhere. Well, that's London for you. And the weather.

You guessed it. I'm back.

Just for a short while though. Very short to be precise.

Lefties Unite!!!

Have you ever like looked or searched for something so much and the result was fruitless. Then, the next day the answer was just in front of you because it was a button away(literally).

My case was mostly about series' as I was curious whether this actor was a leftie. I'm a strong supporter of lefties and finding the answer was killing me. So as usual, I was finding high and low whether he was a left hander. I looked at all the previous episode and older series' he had acted in(soap dramas to be specific) and none to avail.

Mana tau, my question was answered at the following episode with his current series and it was shown on and on and on. What la. Wasted another 2-3 hours just finding whether he was a leftie.

Eh don't play play man with these lefties. :P

You have Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie as a leftie man. I think Napolen and Hilter was too.

Well, really got to go now. Talk to you later.

So The Journey Begins

It is going to be a hell of a journey. I hate late night flights. It's already like 12.30 a.m now and I can barely open my eyes. Luckily got food to keep my mouth busy. Hahaha.

It can be so stressful travelling. Don't you all find that? Especially the last minute stuff. And then, Murphy's Law kicks in. Blah.

Anyway, time to eat more. Muahahahahahaha.

Till then.

Four arrested in Cheras demo

Fuyoh!!! Got FRU to disperse these people. This is crazy. Hahaha. Talking about toll charges and such. Picture from Malaysiakini.

From the Star.

KAJANG: Four people were picked up after they demonstrated at Bandar Mahkota, Cheras, due to road works being carried out at a traffic light junction leading to the area.

The demonstration which saw about 1,000 people, mostly residents from the nearby areas, gathering from 4pm to stop the work conducted by workers.

The protesting crowd played a cat-and-mouse game with the authorities until 10.30pm when the situation worsened.

Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng pulled the plug of a generator before standing in front of a water cannon to prevent the police from aiming it at the crowd.

Denting anger: Residents attempting to clear the concrete barriers situated at Bandar Mahkota Cheras yesterday.

During the ensuing commotion, Lim was said to have been assaulted.

It is learnt that Lim was rushed to the Kajang Hospital by Seri Kembangan state assemblyman Ean Yong Hean Wah and a friend.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Shakaruddin Che Mood said police resorted to firing the water cannons several times to ward off the protestors who were riding motorcycles and speeding towards the police barricades.

He said there were more than 100 policemen including personnel from the Light Strike Force and the Federal Reserve Unit at the scene.

The four arrested, aged between 20 and 30, were taken to the Kajang police station for questioning.

On Wednesday, a large group of residents from Bandar Mahkota and Sungai Long in Kajang gathered to protest against the closure of a road that leads to both housing areas.

The residents claimed that the action of the Cheras-Kajang Highway concessionaire, Grand Saga, to place concrete barriers at the road greatly inconvenienced them.

The closure of the road meant that residents had to pay toll and take a longer route to get to their homes.

Residents had demolished the barriers on April 21, two years after they were put up by Grand Saga, which has maintained that it had right of way over the road.

6 Breakdowns

You got to be kidding me. 6 breakdowns in one day in KL and 3 was along Jalan Kuching. That's a bit a lot right. Speaking of which, my Fiat Punto car also broke down yesterday. Luckily, it was just a 8 minute walk back to the house.

But even then, I find it very peculiar to find so many breakdowns. Hmmmmmmm. Nasib not yet rush hour and being Friday, jam and more jam everywhere. Sigh.

I want to fly!!!

SPM all over again?

Huh? How could I have been thinking of SPM during my sleep yesterday. Could it be I missed exams? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I hate them and they are the one who destroyed my childhood man.

Though I'm a bit amazed that I still could feel the intensity(of course compared to uni it's nothing) at that time and you know what paper I was taking. Moral!!! Not to mention, it was a last minute thing me memorising all 80 nilais. How many were there ah?

It gives me goosebumps. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Hay Fever

Oh my god-tok!!! Never in my life I had such bad hay fever. I mean ya, I always have my running nose like crazy during my younger times(more like the tissue paper everywhere era) but it was sorted out with some super steroids medication like this!!!

Of course not la!!! I'm still so fat. T_T

Anyway, my mom had received some beautiful flowers from friends. But I think those flowers had so much flower power until I went pening. It was so painful. Even in the UK, I never experienced such thing.

Anyway, I put them outside the balcony. Phew. My poor poor nose.

August Rush

Movie number 2. Recommended by Ping Pong. Okay. What can I say. I'm not really a music person but at least I can appreciate it. To be honest ah, a boy can play like that meh. I will show you some of the clips later.

This show reminds me of Mr Holland Opus. This is about a kid finding his parents through music, communicating to them. Waaaaaaah. So touching when he said, "May be they can't find me, so I should find them." T_T

Haiya. If only I was as talented as that. At 11 can become a composer. Of course la we had Beethoven and Mozart. But at least I'm not tone deaf. Anyway, I also dunno why I was nearly in shedding tears for the last performance, August Rhapsody. It was damn great. Sighhhhhh. So jiwang-jiwang. Not to mention, luckily I had my stereo system on. Even the floor was vibrating. :P

On the side note, Jonathan Rhys Meyers cute meh? My girl friends all like in love with him. His lip so tebal one line Angelia Jolie. Hahahaha. Must be his Irish accent. Oh well. He sang quite well too.

Over Her Dead Body

Your typical Sunday doing nothing so why not do another movie marathon. The lady who died in this movie got crushed by an angel. =_= Anyway, it's just another chick flick and some funny scenes. Okay okay this movie. :)

Travellers impressed to see Lim flying economy class

Well, I'm sure we all know that this quite a big story at the moment. Our beloved CM flies economy back to Penang after from KL. Just wow. Read the full story here.

From the Star.

PENANG: Some things have not changed with Lim Guan Eng, although he is now the Penang Chief Minister.

And among that is his penchant for economy class air travel.

As the chief executive of Penang, Lim is entitled to a business class seat but he is having none of it.

As travellers queued to get into the airplane, many are surprised to see Lim standing in line with them, just like in the days before the DAP wrested Penang from the Barisan Nasional in the March general election.

Among those who were surprised to see the Penang CM in economy class were songbird Ning Baizura and her manager Vernon Kedit Jolly, who were at KL International Airport last Wednesday.

Jolly was so moved that he wrote about it on his blog, which spurned off reactions among other bloggers.

Lim, who has adopted a “no formalities” approach since assuming the CM’s post, said he said he had told his staff to book him economy class tickets whenever he needed to fly.

“I hope to lead by example. If I can reach my destination and save some money at the same time, why not?” he asked.

That is not all. The Chief Minister also does not check into luxury-class rooms in hotels.

“I usually request for a room that is at least one level down from what I am accorded,” Lim said.

Jolly, who flew in First Class with Ning on that flight to Penang, said Lim had earned their deepest respects.

Jelly Belly

I have no idea about this jelly but it was cute. Apparently, we weren't suppose to take pictures but haiya my mom bought it so can la. :) Pandan flavour with santan.

Steady Saturday

What a long day today. I was just sitting there doing nothing but listen to people complain and giving suggestions. I suppose that's why an AGM is needed.

For lunch, I think I saw Tony Pua, a very famous political blogger who also turned into a MP. Oh well, Malaysia Boleh. Keep up the good work. :)

An Empress And The Warriors

Well, another kung-fu bloodlust Chinese movie. Now, this was really testing my Mandarin. I'm still a banana but I got the gist of it. The subtitles were horrible so pandai-pandai la. Hahaha. I just amused myself. Weird I know.

Those hor, Donnie Yen character always get killed off one. Poor thing.

American Idol Disaster

How in the world this jackass can be still in the competition. His performance was crap and he has this damn attitude that he is damn leng chai and a charmer. Well, I will give him that but just because he has a guitar all the time doesn't mean he can sing well!!! Ishhhhhh. If he doesn't get out by next week, I will boycott.

America must be crazy to vote someone in like that. Sorry, I anti him. :P

As for the other 2 Davids, I think most likely the older one will be the first Idol Rocker. Not bad. Though David would definitely have his own album and it will go to platinum easily.

Menge-zhu

Well, I don't think it's really pigging out but I have been so tired yesterday when I hardly spent more than 1 hour on the computer. My eyes have been so tired, I could stand sleeping. And I slept for nearly 10 hours.

Anyway, I met another stranger yesterday(the first was Pokguy in Canada and then Kai). I have known him online for 4-5 years. See, it's all he. If I did go out with a random girl, very dodgy la. Hahaha.

We spent a good 4 hours talking about the game we love to play and too much of my surprise politics of Malaysia. He is a Singaporean to begin with, so he was curious with our current situation. I hope my views weren't bias. Muahahahaha.

Well, I still love my country mah. :)
