Bergen I

So, this is my first outing into Bergen. I had a 'long lost friend' i.e. Xin Yi coming to Bergen for a week to sightsee. I a, quite happy because this would be someone familiar and basically a friendly face. Xin Yi also agreed after being away or isolated from Malaysians for 6-7 weeks, it is definitely ecstatic to know a true Malaysian does exist in Norway. :P

Anyway, we visited Bergen the old tourist fashion way. We went on a bus tour which took us to important places like Edvard Grieg's house(a famous Norwegian composer) and to a National State church which was burnt down by Satanist. Quite scary.

Anyhow, we enjoyed the tour and went to the local fish market where it was a seafood galore. From crabs to mussels. You name it they have it. I think they also have whale. We got a big sandwich of seafood and a crab cake. Yummy.

Port of Bergen.

This is a Monkey something Tree. Imported from Chile.

On the way to Edvard Grieg's house.

His tiny house. Cute but nice and very scenic.

The view over looking from his house. His house was on a peninsular.

His grave.

Another house with grass. :)

Mr Edvard Grieg himself and actually. 5 feet he was. Very short. :P

The mini house he built where he wrote/composed his songs.

And here was our bus taking us around Bergen.
